Apparently an Korea media article reported that he did file the lawsuit against SM today, to terminate contract and SM responded to it. But I cannot translate it correctly so I won't post here. A sad day for EXO as I probably won't be able to see Kris in Hong Kong concerts. 

A friend told me that yesterday was last day of negotiation with SM, but the company with-held his money (pay?) and refused to let him go, so left with no choice, Kris filed the lawsuit today. Not sure how accurate..but still....

From weibo..K stans are attacking the M boys and asking them to "go back to China", calling them ingrates. Seemed that Kris stayed behind in Shanghai to audition for an acting role and was successful and SM staff was celebrating with him, suddenly this bomb dropped. We may not know the true facts of the lawsuit but it is a sad day for EXO fans worldwide. I only hope there is no fanwar within the fandom over this.

How in the world can things go so wrong? What is going to happen now with their shows? How do we know how all the members are right now? Im heartbroken for our guys who cared about each other like brothers. What kind of company is this SM? oh my...oh my.

In haste I put my post as the M boys, but the nastiness was also towards the rest of the Chinese members in M. As fan war, I meant in Korean fandom because they can be very nasty and immature. I side with Kris because he must have a valid and good reason for wanting to leave, I hate SM since the days they made JYJ suffer so much. A slave contract is still a slave contract, no matter how you sweeten it.
