Han Ga In, she maynot excelent in acting with this drama (in others I think she acted well, such as in Witch Yoo Hee, or in a drama long time ago with Song Il Goook--I can't text its English name), but I think she's the most beautiful woman in Korea. Kim Tae Hee, Song Hye Kyo, Son Ye Jin are the three that I think as the most beautiful n talented female celebraties, but I also think Han Ga In is more flowery than that :x

This is the first drama of Kim Soo Hyun that i watched. I was hooked in this drama because of the young casts. I love Yeo Jin Gu ang Kim Yoo Jung. They acted the young parts perfectly, Their chemistry is also perfect. I wished to see them both in a drama again or in a movie. At first, i was reluctant to watch the adult cast but the moment KSH appeared onscreen, i fell in love with him. Being a Joseon King suited him very well. The attitude, the charisma was there. Perfect!

I watched this after "The Scholar who walks the night" brought me to historical dramas again and now I know why I used to love period dramas! In general I especially like the child years/actors and it was the same with this drama! Sorry Kim So Hyun  Definitely worth to watch!
