omg, i cried like a big baby at the last episode. this is def my favorite series this season!

T________T best part was when they all opened up the letters, i just couldn't hold in the tears any longer. awesome anime!

I was kinda disappointed in the last ep. Maybe it didn't play out as I wanted, but everyone's confessions and confrontations was pretty much the highlight of the finale, not Menma's leave.

I was also disappointed in the development of Tsuruko and Poppo. They had a lot of potential to be either the craziest ones, or the awesomest ones. But they were pretty much the 2 normal ones.

The series was building up Tsuruko up to quite an interesting character with "hints" of her being possibly deeply troubled like Yukiatsu (Menma drawings, wearing hairpin of dead girl). But she turned out to be just like Anaru, which was a shame and waste. Same thing with Poppo. He was definitely the most troubled/disturbed of all since he practically witnessed Menma's accident. But sadly the series didn't delve into his side of the story.

Other than that, I quite thoroughly enjoyed this series.

Totally agree that it was the best part.

I love the series...though it was quite sad how it ended so soon. They could have stretch the anime for another episode or two showing more of how Poppo saw Menma died and Tsuruko story was just too sad. I was disappointed by the ending. It makes me sad how Jinta is probably going to have a hard time loving another person again unless he meets reincarnated Menma =)

But overall I enjoy the series and was very please with the storyline.

Since I have not seen a sad one since Clannad and its creators.

last episode made me cry so much D:

and when the ending song started playing - i was full on grabbing those tissues!

but im glad everything was solved in the end,

and i love how the whole 'we still don't know the name of the flower we saw that day'

connects with the whole forget-me-not flower that (i think?) menma reincarnated into at the end

Such a wonderful anime! This should be a series that all anime fans should see at least once!

I wish it was a 24 episode anime and not an 11 episode anime though. There wasn't enough episodes to add more development to Tsuruko and Poppo. But still the series was still very good! I couldn't hold back my tears at the last episode. T____T

omo. waited for this show to end. bought a DVD and watched it in one go.

bawling my eyes out at the end. this show is just perfect. perfect, i tell you.

animation, plot, music. perfect.

definitely a show i wouldn't mind watching again.

totally got addicted with galileo galilei's aoi shiori and the

10 [was it 10? i forget. keke] years after version of secret base [though i knew SCANDAL's version first].
