First stills revealed of Yoon Kye Sang’s new drama, “Best Love”

g.o.d’s Yoon Kye Sang recorded his first episode of new mini-series “Best Love” yesterday.

Apparently, the star had no problem pulling off the part of ‘Yoon Pil Joo‘, a man studying herbal medicine who actually has no interest in the field whatsoever.

A representative from his agency stated, “Yoon Kye Sang put a lot of effort into the drama, ‘Best Love’. He concentrated on everything from his hair to his clothes, and even in the manner of his speech so that he could prepare to perfectly transform into his character. Please look forward to (and cheer for!) this new side to Yoon Kye Sang.”

Hmms, the synopsis reminds me of the variety show, 'We Got Married'. Maybe they got their inspiration from there?

Seems like their past few projects are celebrity-related, like "You're beautiful" and "My girlfriend is a gumiho", hopefully this one will be slightly different and not disappoint me!

Co-Ed’s Hyoyoung cast for MBC’s “Best Love”

Co-Ed’s Hyoyoung has been cast for MBC’s upcoming drama, “Best Love“!

“Best Love” revolves around the story of an old top star who becomes entangled in a love triangle with the most popular male stars of the day.

Possessing previous acting experience through KBS’s “Jungle Fish 2“, Hyoyoung will be tackling the role of ‘Harumi’, a friend of the leading female role. Since it will be her first time starring in a drama of longer length, industry representatives are calling it her official acting debut.

Other stars in the drama include Gong Hyo Jin, Cha Seung Won, Yoo In Na, and Yoon Kye Sang. The cast began their script-reading on the 23rd to prepare for its broadcast in May.

5dolls cast for MBC’s upcoming drama, “Best Love”

Yesterday, we reported that Co-Ed’s Hyoyoung was cast for MBC’s upcoming drama, “Best Love.” As it turns out, the members of 5dolls were cast as well!

Since the drama’s plot revolves around the love story of old and new celebrities, 5dolls will be making an appearance as girl group ‘Candice’, one of the top girl groups in the industry. Hyoyoung will have a slightly larger role as the group’s leader, ‘Harumi’, who’s also a friend of the leading role’s.

Hyoyoun commented, “I don’t want to lose to T-ara’s Jiyeon, who’s both my friend and senior, in terms of acting. I’m focusing on my acting now, so please look forward to it.”

The line-up also includes Gong Hyo Jin, Cha Seung Won, Yoo In Na, and Yoon Kye Sang. “Best Love” will begin airing this May.

I'm not a fan of the Hong Sisters although I can generally watch their dramas (3/6) but they seem to tell one story multiple times so I'm iffy about them. But they are often tolerable.

I don't like the leads in this drama but I like Yoo In Na but it seems they are going to make her the typical Hong Sisters evil second lead.

The premise is cute and I'm desperate for a nice romantic comedy so I guess I'm actually looking forward to this.

ever since Dr Champ (which aired a few months ago), I've had a hard time finding a drama to follow. I'm currently watching delayed showings of 'You Don't Know Women' with Kim Ji Ho but definitely would like to have a primetime drama to follow. I'm not a big fan of the male and female lead but respect their work and don't mind them. It's the premise of this Hong sister drama that peaks my interest and I'm looking forward to it.

Wow so many people already waiting for this drama! Roll on May!!! I'm waiting eagerly to see Hong sisters & CSW again ! The synopsis sounds absolutely delicious. I'm trying hard not to raise my expectations but with CSW in it, its difficult! hehe...CSW seems to be in popular demand huh? So soon after Athena. I hope he gets a good rest. Finally found this thread! I seriously can't explain how I'm so pumped up for this drama... Cha Seung Won and Gong Hyo Jin!!! <33333 At this point, I don't even care what'd be the story or whatever... just as long I see them together. Having said that, the story line seems like an icing on the cake already haha BUT BUT BUT! I'm not downing the storyline, I LOVE IT actually~~

May seems a very busy month with so many upcoming dramas, but no doubt The Greatest Love seems to be the best. I mean Hong Sisters are always a winning card and the cast is amazing (CSW:wub: )and the plot seems so good and funny. So this drama is a complete one. Cause other dramas have good casts or interesting plots, but they didn’t have both (in my humble opinion)

Bae Seul Gi cast for MBC’s “Best Love”

Singer/actress Bae Seul Gi will be returning to her acting career through MBC’s “Best Love“!

Having gained experience through musicals, one-acts, and movies, this will be her debut in a drama mini-series. Bae Seul Gi had unfortunately been dropped from the movie “Final“, making this casting more important to her than ever.

As the drama revolves around the love story of a former girl group member, Gong Hyo Jin, Bae Seul Gi will be playing a member of the same girl group. Producers felt that her singing background fitted perfectly with the role, since she had made her debut in 2005 with “The Red” and later had gone solo.

The line-up for the drama also includes Yoo In Na and former Baby V.O.X. member, Lee Hee Jin.
