I am really excited to see Yoochun in a drama again (really into this because of Yoochun). But I'm not really into him and Lee Da Hae's team-up (I've got nothing against her! It's just fangirl selfishness kicking in, haha. Hope you'll understand). The story seems to be good, kinda serious though, but I would really love to see how Yoochun grew as an actor.

Haha~ OMG, this is just too cuteeeee for words~ The little girl who will play mini Miri, said in a program of MBC back in 2006, that she would marry MICKY YOOCHUN in 100 YEARS~ She's just tooooo cuteeeeeeeee, YC's sooooo gonna love her haha~ He loves kids, especially kids who love him haha~

I love all the fanmade trailers for Ripely!!!  Thanks to everyone who shared and especially to @Sayuri Jaejoong who always makes such awesome vids, gifs, and screencaps for us!

LDH looks so pretty but with shows an undercurrent of sadness in all of them which seems quite fitting from what little of the plot we know so far.  Definitely looking forward to this drama.  This a great cast and I really hope to see Chun grow and improve by working with gifted and more experienced actors.  This a wonderful opportunity for him.

And I love the use of Yoochun's scenes from his BeeTV drama back in 2009  before he lost all that weight during simultaneous SKK filming and  Worldwide Showcase mixed in w/ US album recording and A-Nation and  random Japanese activities.  Baby, eat more so we can see a comeback of CHUBSTER CHUN!  (though his "chubby" is actually what I would consider a healthy weight!!!)

[News] Yuchun & Lee Dahae at the crank-in ceremony for a new drama “Ripley”

Park Yuchun, Lee Dahae, and other actors grabbed attention by maintaining a serious yet friendly demeanor while attending the crank-in ceremony [T/N: the Korean word used in the article is "gosa," which means "a ritual in which food is offered to the spirits in order to avoid misfortune and bring good luck"] for MBC’s new Mon-Tues drama “Ripley.”

Park Yuchun, Lee Dahae, Kim Seungwoo, and Kang Haejung, the main actors in “Ripley,” and producers Hanhee CP, Choi Leesup PD, Writer Kim Sunyoung wished for the drama’s success on the 21st by attending the crank-in ceremony held on MBC’s set in Young-in, Kyunggido.

The oldest cast member, Kim Seungwoo, hosted the ceremony by channeling his inner MC and providing witty remarks. After looking through the donations made by the main cast members and presidents of management companies, Kim made everyone at the scene laugh by saying things like “I know everything,” who actors who paid less.

Park Yuchun and Lee Dahae showed unique passion about this project by quietly exchanging opinions about their characters and focusing on their acting even during the ceremony.

Lee Sang Yup Appears as Close Friend of Park Yoochun of “Good Bye Miss Ripley”

Actor Lee Sang Yup, who is playing with enthusiasm (the role of) the friend of Jang Hyuck in SBS TV (drama) “Midus,” will appear in MBC TV (drama) “Good Bye Miss Ripley.”

Lee Sang Yup will take on the role of Ha Cheol Jin, a close friend and right-hand man of Park Yoochun in “Good Bye Ripley” and plans to capture the female heart through the attractiveness of a male with warmth.

Readers know that a few days ago, Yoochun and the cast of Ripley went to Japan for Ripley (see here). A fan account by a grandmother ^^ has been posted.

She wrote about the entire cast, but we excerpt and translate the part just about Yoochun.

On the second day, when everyone had gone location-hunting, Yoochun had remained (back) and was resting. Therefore, I wanted him to eat Yobuku (T/N: a location)’s squid, but I instead mde for him the kyudon (T/N: food item, made of beef on top of rice) of Yoyokaku (T/N: the name of the ryokan, i.e., the inn). But, fortunately (T/N: alternatively, what a pleasure that he did so), it seems that he told Ms. Kang Hye Jeong that it was delicious. Ms. Hye Jeong also said that “tomorrow morning I also want to have kyudon.” So I made kyudon from the morning. It seems that Mr. Yoochun gave a large donation as JYJ for those victimized (by the Earthquake).

From the right, Mr. Park Yoochun, the CEO of Yoyokaku, and Director Choi Yi Sub. Mr. Yoochun, perhaps because he had many activities in Japan as Tohoshinki, was very good at Japanese.
