Not the main character, but these 7 K-drama characters' death makes you heartbroken

Watching Korean dramas, of course, doesn't always end with a happy ending . Not only is the possibility that the main character will eventually die, some of the supporting characters whose life stories invite the sympathy of the audience also sometimes end up dead.

Even though these characters are even liked by the audience, an unfair death is the end of their story. It is very unfortunate and still makes the audience upset. Here are some supporting characters in Korean dramas whose death actually made the audience fail to move on from the drama.

1. Prosecutor Kim Young Joo - City Hunter

One of the supporting character deaths that hurt the heart was when Prosecutor Kim Young Joo (Lee Joon Hyuk) ended up dead in the drama City Hunter . Although at first the prosecutor insisted on revealing the figure of City Hunter , Lee Yun Seong (Lee Min Ho). However, in the end, after learning the truth, he started to side with Lee Yun Seong.

Thanks to that, he was beaten to death while facing the criminals alone. His death was very unfortunate for the audience, especially because his life story also made the audience sympathetic. Prosecutor Kim Young Joo, who divorced his wife due to a misunderstanding, had intended to reconcile. However, the two did not get together and made the ex-wife feel regretful.

Okay, we get it. Min-ho's hairstyle in his hit series City Hunter did not age well. But the 2011 action-packed show is still worthy of a rewatch. It follows Lee Yoon-sung (Min-ho) who goes by the codename "City Hunter".

Yoon-sung seeks to avenge his father's death by using the identity of a Korean-American teenager who is later revealed to have died several years ago.
