Love the story, but the ending scenes were just too rushed. Considering the series was extended, they could've had more scenes to resolve the loan shark mother-SJ-JW problem (they started as though they would take care of the problem between JW and shark mom, but ended with no resolution). The JW and SJ split and then immediate get together and wedding after JW finds SJ is just a bit unfathomable. Yes, she found him, and he missed her, but what about the problem with his mother, his issues on why he left in the first place, and the scenes of how they get together, renewed proposal, the ring (the ring popping up in the end because GR mentioned it to JW seemed a little odd) and so on. But at least they gave plenty of scenes to give closure to JW's birth mom becoming blind and the whole family coming together to support one another, and also JW's two families coming together at the wedding. That and JW and GR reconciling in the last couple of episodes seemed more important to the writer. It seemed like the writer had to keep the problems alive between JW and SJ all the way to the last episode when he/she could've put more time into their reconciliation. Still I'm glad to have watched this series. It's so heartwarming and full of life lessons. Even though some plot lines are a little dramatic (e.g. SJ's loan shark mom), but many of the situations were true to life. And more importantly we got the happy ending we have been waiting for after 7 months!

Hi there!

Does anyone know where I can watch eng subbed or even Chinese subbed ep 53 and 54?  I have been waiting to see the happy ending!!!  Thax.

You're stuck like the rest of us.  It hasn't been available on any site with English subs.  A few places have the raw (joonmedia.org.  ??), but it looks like the subbers have turned out the lights and gone home.

withs2 is not done with the subs for the 53rd episode. They're done with the 54th though.

I am waiting too. But you are impatient, you may download epis 53 and 54 in am addiction and download the subs from darksmurf although epis 53 54 are halfway done but understandable.

Thanks so much for linking but when I tried the link, it gives an error page. Can you link again? Thank you!

That's strange, I just tried and it works.

Here's it again:

Uncle sees everything. Uncle knows everything. Wise Uncle.

Although he's a minor character, he's my favorite with Song Seung-jun at a close second.

I really want to know Song's story but I also don't want to spoil myself. I think his story is revealed next week.

I like the feeling of watching it on TV. It makes me want to watch next weeks episodes every time. It's a good series as long as Geum-ran burns at the end. Knowing how K-Dramas work, she probably will not be held responsible for her actions and she won't be seen as a villain, but I hope it's similar to how "Gloria" worked. That was a good series. It had a lot of action and reaction just like this one.

I have to say that this is one of the best dramas I have ever seen. The acting by the two female leads was just spot on every single time; simply phenomenal. And the script was equally amazing throughout the later episodes. The themes and the ideas in the script and how it was portrayed by the characters held a lot of genuine meaning and truth about life. It's a romantic depiction not concerning the real world, OUR WORLD, but how the world SHOULD be: every individual finding their own place and happiness in life, not trying to take or yearn someone else's life, but to make it your own. Redemption, love, truth. Watching the ending today made me reflect on a lot of things I have done wrongly in the past, and it feels good to know that I am not alone in this world. Anybody who has not seen this, if you are reading my post, I urge you to.
