I agree.in ep. 13 .SSJ are very affected now to JW preoblem.. and without to his knowing his getting falling to JW.. his very tense what happen to JW after the dinner with her rmum. and SSJ cant resist to send message to JW.. and his happy when JW eat the food he prepared and his pretending that the book he read is funny...

when JW and SSJ in the park.. i cant stop laughing when JW Run.. and when she turn around SSJ is gone.

the relationship between the 2 becomes even more complicated in episode 14 :/

i wish SSJ (or song pyun... haha isn't that a name of a traditional korean dduk??) would hurry and realize that he likes JW so he can own up to his actions!!

Hi hi, am new to this thread.

Watched episode 12. I really like Jungwon.

Although she behaved like a child, crying and saying tt she only drink certain coffee, yet she is very honest to herself and the people around her. Instead of blaming other people, she blamed herself and told Daebum honestly that she is the one who want to run away from the family which she currently see as a disaster. She honestly confessed that she is not willing to leave the current comfortable life and come live with this family which she see as something not good for her. But after Daebum told her the coffee was purchased by her birth mum, she accepted and appreciated tt love so much she cannot bear to throw it away. So sweet

After watching 12 episodes, I find that she really appreciate the love she receives from the people around her. She values the people she is with. She love, not with selfish intention, but her love is sincere.

At the beginning of episode 13, although she felt hurt from hearing what the mother who bought her up said, she was able to put aside her feeling and run after and care for her birth mother who she just met. Jungwon is constantly putting other before herself, willing to care and extend love to people around her.

I look forwards to this show every week because I enjoy watching how she interacts with the people around her. Hope her character will stay sweet and kind all 50 episode. Hopefully Geumran wouldn't come out with too many evil plan to harm and hurt Jungwon in her attempt to live a better life for herself. hee hee

Oh man, totally enjoyed this weekends episodes and wish it was saturday already! And the previews for the next episode.. can't wait to see GR leaving and crying over what her birth mother says. I know, seems evil but I dislike her so much! Especially when she told her birth mother about the coffee cup in JW's room that JW didn't want thrown away. To me in that scene it seemed like GR was trying to stir up alittle bit of emotional trouble, she's a sly one. Did anyone else feel good when GR's older sister slapped her? >.<

I hope JW's birth mother does not become blind. It is sooo sad. Also, I'm loving that we are seeing little bits of Seung Jun's feelings towards Jung Won, but I hope the blossoming of their potential love does not drag! Knowing that GR has some feelings for him and wanting to pursue him.. I feel SJ might be the middle man between the two girls for a while.. That will annoy me.

 drama  shining is really good because ,every episode its gaining rating.. in ep. 14 its rating  is 18 percent something .. i hope it will contenue..

Without any subtitles for both episodes to help me, the expression displayed by each character show much jealousy and hint of love. I can see jealously of JW when she saw Seung Jun with GR & GR with GR's biological mom. I can see jealousy of Seung Jun when he saw JW answering the phone call of Dae Bum. There is also jealousy showed from GR and JW's adoptive mother.

However, despite the jealousy expressed in both episodes, there is also love. Love from the Uncle (he is such a sweetheart to JW) and it appears that both Dae Bum and Seung Jun have already started to have feelings for JW. It was sweet of how Seung Jun cooked for JW and Dae Bum appreciating JW as a the "mother" for his baby.

And if I may, can anybody write summaries for both ep. 13 & 14 for those who doesn't understand Korean? Thank You.

I think the woman who raised Jung Won, is a good mother and she did love Jung Won. So I feel uneasy...I don't want to hate her character later on..once she begins to favor more her real daughter GR.

Jung Won on the other hand is really pure of heart, she knows how to appreciate the kindness being given to her, like the "coffee" given to her by her real Mom, the simple meal prepared for her by SJ, the kind encouraging words of the Dad,Uncle and brother, those small gestures of kindness easily touches her heart and makes her feel better.

Once JW accepts her real Mom, with all her heart, I'm sure she will do everything for this woman who gave birth to her. She will stand by her real Mom's side, protect her, help her no matter what. Because JW cherishes those who gives her love and do her best to be there for those who would need her the most. And when that time comes, there is no turning back.

I really tried to give GR a second chance every episode. Not happening!

I just want this to end so it will be happy. I feel like the JW's mom is going to favor GR over JW

when they move it together. I'm really despising GR!!

in ep. 13  in the last part  the preview.. i think the rival between JW and GR are started , and the real ugly attitudes of GR are starting showing off to JW. because GR said to JW i dont  want to live with you ..so you (JW)  can exit to my  family now.

GR are excited to work in publishing comapny.. shes a real greedy to all thing i hate also to her real mother because she never talk to JW about her plan to GR.. so JW always  surpise.. to all thing regarding GR are concerned.. in ep. 9 GR told to DB.. i want to ba admire butterfly not a  mote.

im sure GR  have a plan to compete JW  now that she can  work to publishing company.. and GR  misunderstood the kindness that SSJ  shows to her...

In that scene where GR and JW were talking...GR seems to say hateful things without even blinking, and even pretend to say it in a pretentious sweet, innocent way...oooh creepy!

In those tense scenes between GR & JW have you noticed the "horror" soundtrack playing...LOL

And the brother who belittles JW as an opponent...now has a SCARY, CREEPY real sister...Geum Ran...Now how is he going to handle that ...LOL!

I would say it is hard to look at GR - she has a lot of bitterness and she wants to blame everything at JW. I may say that she is not sincere in helping the parents that raise her eventhough she was treated with love & affection among the siblings. I know that JW will move out of the house, and i will not be surprise if she will move out of work too of course GR will be behind of all of this. But JW is successful not because of her rich parents, and thats why she gets mad with SJ because he is biased with her. JW has really a good heart never abused her position in the company. And from the previous episode,the real mom of JW told GR that she is going to be rich since she dream of something before she gave birth to her is meant for JW. And I am looking forward to that! Hope the writer will not drag JW misery and let her move on!
