JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun decided to spend his 29th birthday with the fans.

On May 9, C-JeS Entertainment announced, “Celebrating his birthday on June 4, Park Yoo Chun will be meeting with fans through his first solo fan meeting in Korea.”

The agency added, “Apart from his activities as JYJ, Park Yoo Chun made his acting debut through KBS 2TV’ Sungkyunkwan Scandal in 2010 and has been building his spectrum through dramas and movies, but he has not met with the fans in Korea. Kim Jaejoong revealed his feeling about the airing of <Triangle> in an exclusive interview.

MBC’s new special project <Triangle> had its first airing on the 5th of May and has climbed to the top of the Mon-Tue drama viewer ratings.

In <Triangle>, Kim Jaejoong plays the middle brother, the infamous lower-class gangster in Gangwon-do, the rebel of the casino – Jang Dongchul (Huh Youngdal). From the first episode, he has captured the attention of the viewers with his strong presence.

Kim Jaejoong, whom we met at the filming set, revealed the reaction of people around him, “My friends watched the drama and kept sending to me the similar captures of messed-up Youngdal that they took from TV. The members of my family also changed their SNS profile photos [into Youngdal’s messed-up images]. I’m not sure what kind of scenes I will start in in the future, but every time my messy image appears, they (friends and family) will act that way.”

Kim Jaejoong’s eyes looked fierce in the drama Triangle. His character only cares about gambling, but when he sits at the casino table, the look in his eyes changed.

In the second episode of Triangle that was broadcasted on the 6th of May, YoungDal (Kim Jaejoong), who was barred from entry into casino, became an informant for DongSoo (Lee Bum Soo) in order to continue gambling.

As soon as YoungDal entered the casino, the look in his eyes changed. Like the ecstatic expression of an alcoholic who finally tasted alcohol after a long time, the look in YoungDal’s eyes at the casino looked like that of a gambling addict. In the show, Kim Jaejoong portrayed YoungDal as someone who would feel uneasy without gambling for even a day.<

When Jaejoong was in the casino, he really seemed like a gambling addict. The panic in his eyes looked real when he thought of the stolen secret fund. Anticipation and nervousness could be felt seeing him slightly flipping his poker cards up to see the numbers.

Kim Jaejoong also perfectly portrayed a gambling addict when he was playing hold ‘em poker with his long-lost younger brother, DongWoo (Im Siwan). He did not look like an amateur gambler. During the start of the poker game, he showed a sharp look in his eyes while analysing it. He did not panic even when he was being embarrassed for saying ‘race’ instead of ‘raise’. He made the audience laugh with his innocent look, after he lost to DongWoo in the poker game.

Even though the character is different from other roles that Jaejoong has portrayed in the past, he immersed well in the role and his acting was natural. There is a lot of anticipation about how Jaejoong would portray his role after meeting his long-lost brothers, DongSoo and DongWoo.

We love our Park Yoochun (and hope people continue to vote so he can win the Baeksang Popularity award!)...

Han Jung Woo (IMY) is still my favorite character/role that PYC played...just because that role was very versatile and YC was able to show everything (action, dramatics, comedy, and everything else). PYC became an actor's actor.
And yes, YoonBoWon is now my favorite female partner for YC. May not be the traditional love story or anything, but the partnership was great and the actors looked amazing and so natural together. Makes us anticipate for a sequel!!!
