computer problems

hey guys, recently i took out my computers fan and replaced it with one of my dads other computer fans..bkuz before it used to be really loud and annoying..so now its much quieter..but the problem is that when i turn it on, the monitor, keyboard, and mouse dont seem to respond with the computer anymore.. ;____; they still work, i tried it on my dads computer but its just that they dont work with my computer anymore....ive been trying over and over and over again to clean it out..and re-plug it..its not working..and im getting so frustrated..
if you guys have any tips or know how to fix this..please replyy.&thanks.

p.s. if you were wondering, im using my dads laptop for now.. ;_______; i miss my computer.

you might have moved something or worse.. shocked something with static and killed the CPU o_o.. i'm not joking too. happened to my old computer.
