@farbarri I do agree on the aspect of the Daesang being awarded to SJK. He has improved like crazy from the time he acted in The Frozen Flower. Also compared to the other actors JW wasn't in dramas or movies when he started out his career. But he did manage to get attention due to his perception and presence of a soul in all the characters he has performed. But to bring consistency in his character's stand in a drama will take some time. And I think Good Doctor could change that - primarily we are talking of a character that needs to interact a lot with his patients but as per the description from @bomerang he hides his defects in his personality. So this is going to be one major challenge. When I was going through his love letter for his fans at the Japan FM, I could understand why he was so thankful. Baker king was a success in 2010 and he had a FM in that year and his individual FM in 2011. But Gaksital you could say tested the loyalty of his Japanese fans. That is another one reason he couldn't believe many stood to visit him at that fanmeet. But yes, he still needs to accomplish many ranges in character stability like his seniors. And with the impending military service, I don't blame the guy working to death so he can stand out for his work and not just any loverboy role.I admire him for going back to his musical roots. Because 2 years is a long gap for any actor in his career and to rebuild that after discharge is even more difficult; so at least he has the musicals to return to till he gets a meaty role in a drama or movie. I hope SIM entertainment stands by him in it by getting quality projects for him.

My heart is already tugging heavily. * I have got something in my eyes* @nemesis90 I can so understand what you are writing - a lady carries the child for nine months and after she delivers anything abnormal is there in the child it crushes her severely. We have an epileptic child in our church. One day during communion she had a seizure. We all didn't know what to do. The mother somehow managed to control the situation by not screaming loudly but I could see the worrisome nature in her eyes. Imagine she fell straight like a board on a marble floor!!!! A seizure and any injury to the skull ------ I can't imagine

Joo Won's Fan Meeting in Tokyo - Summary

I had started writing the part 2 of my FM diary but looks like I have to put it on hold for now. Seems like the videos that I have uploaded onto YT are fast attracting lots of attention. Even a local Japanese media had caught on and even commented that one could make a DVD from the many vids I captured. So I thought I'd better do the full summary of the FM and post all the vids and photos in one post so that everyone can 'watch' all the vids n pixs according to the program sequence and know that they didn't miss any out. I'll be keeping my comments to the minimum ie only making comments to explain the vids/pixs. I'll write my own personal thoughts/feelings when I continue writing "My Diary".  

I didn't take much other vids as my priority was taking the song and dance performances. I took only brief vids of him talking, games and interviews as I had also wanted to conserve my battery and memory space. So hopefully these short vids is enough to provide you with the gist of what was happening.

Since I'm not sure how long my vids can stay uploaded in YT before I get a notification to remove them all, I'd suggest everyone to 'pali pali' download all of them asap! When viewing and downloading, pls note that u can view/DL the highest 1080p HD quality.

Lastly, for anyone who may want to repost my entire post onto any other websites, forums, blogs etc, I ask that you please PM me to give me the heads up. I'm doing this based on @manyearsago's earlier post on Page 1236 where she had provided a translated version of a recap done by a Japanese media. Note that I'm addressing cutie as JW since I'm not sure if this will be reposted elsewhere. Please note that I may not be accurate in my sequence. I might not have correctly identified the videos of JW talking too. I made my guesses based on the clothes he was wearing.

The FM started punctually at 5pm with JW singing the Level 7 Civil Servant OST, 'A Path Towards You'. As I was busy fulfilling a prior promise, I had to rely on my backup partner to record this bit. Unfortunately, it was not captured in full. Guess my backup partner was stunned by his electrifying performance on stage.

Next up was the 'Insight/Spy Test Game' where JW was asked to look for 3 types of people in the crowd. 1) someone who works as a 'Civil Servant', 2) someone who'd have JPY100,000 in her wallet, and 3) someone who'd have JW's photo in her hand phone. Here's a blurry photo of the 3 ladies that JW picked. JW correctly picked the 1st is the lady with JPY100K and the 2nd lady with his photo in her HP. But the 3rd lady was the not a Civil Servant but a homemaker instead. 

Next segment sees a special appearance by L7CS's 'JJ'! Yes, Im Yoon Ho comes on stage and there's another round of interviews. Here's a short video of that interview.

Im Yoon Ho took the stage and sang Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On', the OST for the movie 'Titanic'. He looked pretty nervous to me but overall I think he did pretty well. Immediately after IYH's song, a short video clip was aired where I think JW was talking about his preparations for this FM. He looked so gorgeous in that clip! Then the almighty JW appeared belting out one of his favourite and most sung songs, 'This is the Moment', an OST from the 'Jekyll and Hyde musical'. He sang with his usual 'from deep deep within his stomach muscles gusto' and ultimate voice control!

The atmosphere started to pick up with JW's next song, 'I Believe' - My Sassy Girl Movie OST. I was so awed because this was the first time I saw JW singing and dancing complete with backup dancers! Everyone was up on their feet dancing along with him! It took even more effort for me to record this because 1) everyone on my row was up and bouncing so I had to try to steady my recording hands even more 2) I myself wanted to stand up and dance because his performance was just so captivating and contagious! I wanted to wave my hands around and at one point I felt like I was in an evangelical session all fired up and ready to shout AMEN! Such was the euphoric atmosphere that JW had managed to drum up! Sorry, I did say I wasn't going to comment much BUT seeing this clip again just ignited my passion! No matter how often I've seen this clip, it still NEVER fails to give me the goose bumps!!!! Ohhhhh.... His vocals here were just AMAZING!!!! Ohhhhhh.....

Another 'hot' number ensued with JW signing 'Because I am Stupid' - Boys Before Flowers OST. Our beloved JW was transformed into a hot Kpop Idol star with his singing and sleek dance moves! Ohhhh.... When the introduction of 'Gangnam Style' was played immediately after 'Because I am Stupid' ended, I was like 'Oh.My.GAWD....!!!' I was in utter belief! JW came out dancing the horse dance and I my mouth just couldn't close! LOL! Ok ok, I'll stop commenting!

While taking on the role of the autistic pediatrician Park Shi On for his new drama, "Good Doctor," actor Joo Won also has to deal with a hit and run driver in the film "Only You 2013." Fortunately, she is the girl of his dreams.

He is currently shooting the film with Kim Ah Joong, who plays his crush Yoon Jin Sook. In the film, Joo Won's character Lee Ho Tae meets Yoon Jin Sook again after dreaming about her for ten years. But it's not a dream come true. She turns out to be a hit and run driver. It's the kind of thing that forces you to reevaluate your feelings for someone. Hit and run driving is a serious subject but from all the film descriptions so far, it looks like it will be a comedy and no real pedestrians will be hurt in the making of the film.

Kim describes her film character as unpredictable.

"Yoon Jin Sook is a mysterious character that behaves unexpectedly," said Kim. "I expect the film will be sweet and lovely."

On the first day of filming Joo Won said that things were going well.

"The story is fun, so I think we will continue to have an enjoyable time filming," he said.

That's good because while he is filming "Only You," the star of "Level 7 Civil Servant" and "Bridal Mask" is already busy shooting his new medical drama with co-star Moon Chae Won.

Filming a drama can be very demanding, some more than others. For example, his role in "Bridal Mask" was so tiring that it surprised the actor.

"When it started I was fully confident of my physical stamina," said Joo. "But it was really exhausting. I want to be an actor that is full of vitality."

Add a film to a drama schedule and it can be exhausting, even for the fittest actors. Joo Won generally exercises and eats well but a demanding filming schedule can make it harder for anyone to maintain a healthy routine.

Netizens have expressed some concern that the actor is losing weight because of his demanding schedule. The first stills from his drama show the actor looking thin and a little lost, but he does play a character that has problems relating to people and the world around him.

It doesn't help his energy levels that he felt a pressing need to give something back to his fans. The actor recently attended a fan meeting in Japan where he wowed the audience with his energetic interpretation of Psy's "Gangnam Style."
