|오마이스타 ■취재/이미나 기자| KBS 2TV 월화드라마 <굿닥터>가 종영을 하루 앞두고 있다. 서번트 증후군을 앓고 있는 자폐증 환자 박시온(주원 분)이 어엿한 소아외과 의사로 성장해 가는 이야기를 담은 <굿닥터>는  20%대의 전국 시청률을 기록하며 시청자의 사랑을 받았다.

주연 배우들을 두고 호평도 이어지고 있다. 어려운 역할을 잘 소화해 낸 주원을 비롯해 따뜻한 성품과 털털하면서도 귀여운 매력을 동시에 지닌 차윤서를 연기하고 있는 문채원, 그리고 점차 시온의 가능성을 인정하며 그의 성장을 이끄는 강직한 의사 김도한 역의 주상욱 모두 자신의 몫을 손색없이 해내고 있는 것.

<굿닥터>의 박재범 작가는 이 세 배우들을 어떻게 생각하고 있을까. 박재범 작가는 최근 <오마이스타>와의 통화에서 그가 생각하는 주원·문채원·주상욱의 매력을 조심스레 꼽았다. 먼저 박시온 역의 주원을 두고 박 작가는 "감이 좋은 배우"라고 평했다. "대본을 보고 자신이 어떻게 연기를 해야 하는지 방향을 잘 잡는 것 같다"고 말한 박재범 작가는 "어려운 역할이라 우려도 있었는데, 주원이 기대 이상으로 잘 해주고 있다"며 고마움을 전했다.

또 박재범 작가는 차윤서 역의 문채원을 두고는 "촬영장의 천사"라고 표현했다. "여배우가 까다로우면 현장 분위기까지 안 좋아질 수 있는데, 문채원에게선 그런 모습을 전혀 찾아볼 수 없다"는 게 그 이유다. 열의도 엄청나다. 관계자에 따르면 문채원은 자신이 생각한 캐릭터의 감정이나 대사 톤을 대본에 깨알같이 적어놓고, 혼잣말을 하는 부분에서는 다양한 애드리브 아이디어까지 내며 캐릭터를 완성해 가고 있다는 후문이다.

자칫 전형적으로 보일 수도 있는 김도한을 입체감 있는 인물로 만든 주상욱에 대한 평도 잊지 않았다. 박재범 작가는 "주상욱은 인성이 연기에 묻어나는 배우"라고 말했다. 이어 "실제 주상욱의 성격은 정말 남자답고 책임감이 넘친다"며 "한 번만 만나 보면 그의 매력을 알 수 있을 정도"라고 극찬을 아끼지 않은 박 작가는 "이런 주상욱의 매력을 어떻게 김도한에 담아낼 수 있을지 고민을 많이 했다"고 전했다.

한편 <굿닥터>는 8일 마지막 회를 방송할 예정이다. 단막극 및 OCN <신의 퀴즈> 시리즈로 내공을 쌓아 온 박재범 작가는 <굿닥터>를 통해 2013 코리아드라마어워즈 작가상을 받는 영예를 안았다. 마지막으로 박재범 작가는 곽도원·고창석·진경·김영광 등 주요 출연진의 이름을 하나하나 언급하며 "작품에 출연하고 있는 배우들 모두 진정한 의미의 '굿 배우'들"이라는 말로 감사의 마음을 드러냈다.

Joowon feels empty now that his shoot has ended...... i wonder if he cries when the director said "cut!" today as it marks the last time he acts as ShiOn. if we are already very sad, i cant imagine just how sad he is feeling, his withdrawal syndrome must be harder than ours.
i remember when i went for my theater training for two months. after the performance, we went camping together, went out for shopping and chat and mealtimes together. until now, after a few years later, we're still close. all those times that we spent, we talk about ourselves and about the practice times. it was extremely wonderful. mind you, i only practiced at night after classes end. so imagine how hard it must be for Joowon especially, who had to stay in character for a long period of time during filming, which took at least 3 months.
Joowon-ah~ i love you! be strong, darling! good luck for your Ghost musical practice! it's a challenge going from one character to another, but i have complete faith in you. fighting!
