I decided to watch It started with a kiss again but now I wonder sometimes how things will go in the Korean version and such. Specially episode wise. ISWAK has a lot of eps..will the Korean version have asmuch eps, more eps or do they need to rush things? I hope the Korean version will have 2 seasons aswell.

This is really group8 style, they always release some spoiler pics within few days before official broadcasted. So i expect more pics to come ^^

For me it doesn't matter about how many episodes, as long as they transform the manga plot to the script nicely and NOT draggy, so in the end its really a nice one unity story. Because in my opinion, ISWAK have too many episodes, so it was kinda draggy so at the some point could make viewer bored.

And one more, MK is not based on ISWAK which more or less adding their own interpretation too. So why follow ISWAK? MK based on the manga, itazura na kiss.

So MK have their own freedom to interprete how they will execute the manga story, just like ISWAK with their own freedom, and itazura na kiss japan dorama with their own freedom.

MK has full rights to have their own style too, just like the previous 2 version.

I don't care, i anticipate korean style in full mode ^^ i will enjoy this version the way it is!

Hi everyone! I am finally delurking on this thread because I am so excited for this - I love the Taiwanese version and am really excited there is a Korean one in the offing, especially with this cast - I think KHJ isn't just easy on the eyes (though he is, very ) but will also do a good job - his vibe seems to fit the character really well. Also, seeing that by the end of Boys Over Flowers, his was one of the few characters left that I didn't want to strangle, I am glad he gets to get the girl this time. I also like JSM - I am watching Bad Guy right now and she's really good and very pretty. They'll definitely make a striking pair.

Plus, all the pictures posted so far get me more and more excited - the makers seemed to have gotten the manga vibe right. Yay!

Does anyone know how many episodes this is supposed to be? And how far into the manga storyline will they go? Just until marriage or post it, too, like the Taiwanese version?

although ISWAK is a bit dragging, i believe there's more character development there so i hope this Korean version would not be as fast as the Manga and would take time to develop the main characters ..i guess people that have watched the manga first would have a different perspective from people who watched ISWAK first ..my fault i did a marathon on ISWAK first after hearing that KHJ will do MK

Hi Guys....

It's good to hear about KHJ upcoming drama.

In my opinion, u better not watching the other versions (Japan & Taiwan) first before the HJL's version aired so u won't be biased with other versions.

We'll watch the HJL's vesion as if it is the original version of M Kiss.

N btw, why did they (the producers) always give him a cool image on tv, while in the other hand he has a very beautiful smile ... ... LOVE...LOVE...when he smiles

my theory is that they might do a BOF-way: they'll see the viewers' response first then talk about extension/"second" season.

I actually think it's nice for others [who haven't seen it] to watch ISWAK first, just for a good adaptation comparison. just to get in tuned with the story a bit. on the other hand though, it can really deter your interest if the korean version pales in comparison. [like when i rewatched HYD before BOF arrived and it completely made me see how inferior GHS's JanDi was to Inoue Mao's Tsukushi]

i just love ISWAK/TKA that i want others to appreciate it if not love it as much as i did.

Actually I feel that Kim Hyun Joong fits the role 'Plateful Kiss' perfectly.

However I feel that Jung SoMin don't really fits it well for the role. I know it's unfair for me to judge her before seeing any of her drama but if I were to compare the looks to the comics. She dun have any similarity except the long hair. She got sweet smile, but I think there are many actress out there with it too. Initially I though that Park Shin Hye might suits the role well. I saw her CF with Kim Hyun Joong. It's great. I am kind of disappointed they didn't choose PSH.

Anyway,I hope this show will be a success still cos Kim Hyun Joong is really a good pick and he is very talented.The above are my personal feelings. No hard feelings please.

I agree. I'm actually really glad So Min got the role. For some reason she gives me the Kotoko feel I guess. I think she's going to do really well. I'd rather see Park Shin Hye in a different role. Kinda repetitive for me to see her in the same role again.

I'm so excited to see how So Min and Hyun Joong will act out their role! I have the urge to watch the taiwanese version again....I loved how Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin played out Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin but I'm afraid I'm going to compare the two and I might be disappointed since I was obsessed with the Taiwanese version when it came out xD

I really hope they won't make Baek Seung Jo extremely cold to Oh Hani like it was with the Japanese version though....hmmm maybe that's why I loved the taiwanese verson so much because we can clearly see that Zhi Shu slowly falling for Xiang Qin even though he won't admit it and she never had a clue. As well as how ticked off Zhi Shu was when Xiang Qin first enters his life and pushes his buttons LOL I really hope it's like that in the Korean version. And hopefully KHJ will be able to express these emotions it naturally.

I'm also really excited to see who will be playing the Seung Jo's mother! Hopefully she will have the same about of spunk as Zhi Shu mother's. Ah by the why who will be playing his mother again? I really can't wait to watch the scenes between his mother and Hani <3
