06skul06 = i know the tone of my post isn't that too good. i just can't help not to react this time. i can't really imagine how a photo would speak a 1000 words that he will be that way during the drama. he's been getting a lot of criticisms in all the things he do.

don't worry that's the first and last time i would react because of the photo, this thread is supposed to be for those who are anticipating and excited for the drama.

hey girl, kwenchanayo..^^, yeah, you're right there, every move he made are being watched. I guess that's one of the consequences of being popular. All eyes are on him. Let's just support him and hope for the best. I know he can nail it. I know Hyun Joong, I'm a triple S, I know Hyun Joong pretty much. He's a bright person, I know he can do things beyond people's expectation. He won't be the Leader of SS501 for nothing.

And if you only know how much he hate acting hahaha but atleast he's trying. If you watch one of the episodes from WGM (we got married) he opened up to Hwang bo about him, playing as Jihoo in BOF. He said that, it was too stressful to act and be surrounded by actors. He wants to be surrounded more by singers rather than actors. See. Imagine how Hyun Joong is feeling now, He's trying so hard and working his richard simmons off just to fit in Acting world and all he can get is this? aigooo.. I pity him. aigoooo...

One student from So Myung Girls' High said this was taken secretly! Baek SeungJo got full marks 500 marks for the mock exam at Pa Rang High School!

In the original comic, the result is given grades from 1st to the last, but in our country, we use 1, 2, 3 (not too sure how they grade in Korea) for grading~~

The casts look really promising. I'm getting so exciting for this drama, even though i was not that thrill at first due to the idea of remaking.

Hater is always a hater. No matter how well the actor/actress does, they will find some reasons to bash on them. Once the negative vibes are there, nothing will look good in their eyes. So, let them be!

Don't work up, gals! Let's have fun with this drama, and support the actors/actresses.

Well, despite all negative opinions on Kim Hyun Joong's acting, I am actually okay with him playing Naoki/Zhi Shu. He did switch management companies, maybe KeyEast (Bae Yong Jun) will help shape him into a better actor. I did see a glimmer of hope that he has improved when I watched the Gummy “As a Man” MV. Though it was just an MV it’s still acting and I thought he did a good job in it portraying his character. Also, with all those CFs he’s been shooting, maybe he’s learned how to control his facial expressions and body language.

Since everyone gave their two cents on Kim Hyung Joong’s prior performance in BOF I would also like to give mine. Yoon JiHoo was supposed to be this silent but tender hearted caretaker. A soulmate who says very little but who’s facial expressions and body language speak louder than his words. Honestly, I think the character of Yoon JiHoo was hard for him to portray because it was a complex character, and with KHJ being a newbie actor and all, maybe that role shouldn’t have been given to him. For whatever reasons, be it for eye candy or idol candy purposes, the role was given to him in the end, and though he wouldn’t receive an oscar nomination, you have to give the guy points for trying his hardest in a role that he himself didn’t completely understand. But c’mon people, its not like BOF was supposed to be a comic, heartfelt, love story drama that could compare to the likes of a drama like “Full House”. From the very beginning BOF was an over the top, crazy, eye candy flashing drama, not one to be taken literally or to resemble reality.

As for people judging his photo and saying he'll be a failure just because he doesn't show enough expression in that photo alone, ARE YOU SERIOUS?!! Like seriously?!! If that's how we should judge actors/actresses acting skills, there wouldn't be ANY actors/actresses out there who could act. Also, how do you judge someones acting by their photo anyway? Acting is motion and sound isn't it? Well, unless that picture can move like in the Harry Potter universe, the photo isn't even considered acting, it's JUST A PHOTO. I think before anyone starts criticizing, whether it be constructive or not, EVERYONE should wait and watch at least the 1st and 2nd episodes. After that, if you still feel his acting is inferior then at least your opinion will have merit because you've seen it and it would be understandable for you to feel that way about this drama. Until then, keep the negative/critical comments to yourself, araso?

All in all, I look forward to Kim Hyun Joong’s portrayal as Naoki/Zhi Shu, and Jung So Min as Kotoko/Xiang Qin.

It will be interesting to see the Korean adaptation of Itazura. Althought the storyline is a prettymuch foregone conclusion, my interest would be to see how the production team adapts the story in the korean context. Also interested to see the chemistry and dynamics between the 2 leads. It will be inevitable that the Korean adaptation wil be compared to the japanese and tawainese counterparts in terms of the tv adaptations and manga. But that's where the fun is, appreciating the differences. I'm all for a new outlook on the korean version in terms of storyline/characters etc as long as the production/writer can keep to the spirit of the original creation.

I agree. I like how she's not overly made up (with plastic surgery and such). She looks like a nice girl next door type that audience can relate to. From the still shots, KHJ looks like he can portray this aloof character

after so many days of contemplating, I decided that I like the female lead. LOL. I think she's so pretty and quirky and cute. She fits the role, physically, at least. I hope she does well in the drama!
