Ha Ji Won cast as female lead for Secret Garden

Actress Ha Ji Won has been cast for SBS‘ new weekend series, Secret Garden, as the show’s female main role. She will play a girl named Gilla , a chill professional stuntwoman who prefers to be “cool” rather than “pretty.”

Ha Ji Won’s character will be forming a love triangle with Kim Joo Won (played by Jang Hyuk), a rich CEO, and Oscar (played by Yoon Sang Hyun), a has-been Hallyu star. Also, Jay Park will be playing a newbie singer named Sun, whereas Kim Sarang will be playing a CF director named Yoon Seul.

Secret Garden will begin to air in late September.

not much on Lee Phillip's character. The only thing we know is that his character's name is 임종수 (Lim Jong Soo). Nohing further on the character. I'm sure we'll learn more.

I found out some more information about Lim Jong Soo (Lee Phillip). He is supposed to be a martial arts director, a sunbae (senior) to Gil Ra Im and likes Ra Im as well.

Seems like Ra Im is a popular girl!

I honestly think Secret Garden has a really good cast. Aside from obviously pretty people they have proven actors. The only unproven one is Jay Park but I think it'll just add to the excitement, right? I'd becurious to see Jay in his first drama. It's a really good learning experience for him to be surrounded by all the great actors.

When I see that list...SBS really seems to step up their game post World Cup...and they desperately need that. WC has just about kill SBS dramas.

Somehow I doubt Secret Garden will air in September though....most likely October??.......In any case I'm just glad that all portal sites have listed Jang Hyuk and Ha Ji Won in Secret Garden drama description.

Anyway, Jang Hyuk is my total DILF and well, Ha Ji Won is my girl crush. These two are in such a different caliber in acting, it will be such a treat! It's like they're doing me a HUGE favor by just standing next to each other in my screen.
