Guest cyberfruit Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Don't type if you're going to be typing up such faggotry. Oh please, keep killing the word. It seriously needs to be tired and used so that it will go out of the American vocabulary.

Guest EMA Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 wow , that was weird . it's sad that people who so denounce the use of "gimmicks" are so quick to pick up on the use of them . meanwhile , how many underground death metal bands are there that have managed to reach the mainstream ? everyone successful in entertainment has a gimmick . manson is a significant force in the world of entertainment - he has novels , is making a film , has performed with countless other popular artists , has been interviewed on mainstream news and tv programs , and has been the feature of a bunch of protests and docos , because of the SIGNIFICANT IMPACT he has on so many people . i don't know many "long haired people" have done the same , indicating just how important a gimmick is in gaining mass appeal . if he maintained the long haired make up-less image he had in the early 90s , he wouldn't be anywhere near where he is today . and i did ask what people think , because i do want to know . by all means tell me what you think , but don't be rude about it .
Guest xiLLeNtz Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 lol im actually surprised to see alot of positive feedback about him; ive herad some of his songs, not stuff id listen to everyday but i liked aah;
Guest azn_seraph Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 I like some of his music, Eyeless Sentry ... You're wasting you own time by coming back onto here to reply to people yelling at you for "Expressing" your opinion (Which could have been put in a better way)...

What about Led Zeppelin? What about Pink Floyd? Those two bands have impacted music in ways which are undescribable without the use of gimmicks. Oh! The words! They cut me so deeply! God, shut up already.

But naturally I care enough to come back to upset these ever so sensitive glam freaks.
Guest Malice_Kaiser Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 ^ In all honesty, once you start throwing around the word "f.aggot," you lose the argument automatically.
LucasBunny Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 I think he really wants Marilyn Manson if you ask me.
Guest cyberfruit Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 ^ In all honesty, once you start throwing around the word "f.aggot," you lose the argument automatically. Thank. You. All crediblity is lost once you throw around f.aggot. After that, no one takes you seriously.

Guest _MaJa_1234 Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 I personally don't care for what he does, but his music is the richard simmons.
Guest EMA Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 What about Led Zeppelin? What about Pink Floyd? Those two bands have impacted music in ways which are undescribable without the use of gimmicks. uh , led zep's "untitled" 4th album , with the 4 symbols nobody knew how to pronounce - gimmick . i don't know a lot about them . but every band's style , something they say , a song title , a certain member of the band , a guest role on a certain show , virtually anything they say or do that isn't strictly music that might get them some interest from potential or pre-existing fans is a gimmick . pink floyd's album covers and stage shows were always gimmicks too , they're there to sell stuff and draw attention to what they're doing , just like what manson does . ps , i agree with several others who said it's auto-loss once you start throwing that word around .
