A successful career Bigbang has been making. On the 29th of May, YG Entertainment’s leading male idol grop has been awarded three awards on MTV Video Music Awards in Japan. A pretty impressive streak with only a year in the Japanese market. , while Dong Bang Shin Ki also won the ‘Best Group Award’ with the song ‘Share The World’ even though they did not attend .

this doesn't prove anything >_>

TVXQ wasn't even actively promoting and had tons of restrictions with law suits goiing on.

If TVXQ was active they'd be sweeping all the awards :<

anyways congratz to big bang. I'm happy they're successful in japan.

I heard 2ne1 performed at the VMA's.

They're also debuting in Japan? .. Ugh.

Prove... what? Junsu sold 150k+ of his single, don't worry... Big Bang doesn't have anything on Tohoshinki in terms of popularity, though they did legitimately win more VMA's than THSK. Doesn't have much to do with the lawsuit.

I thought Japan wasn't to fond of Big Bang because half of them

aren't even bothering to learn Japanese. o-o I mean Japanese netizens were

pretty POed when they won that one newbie award.

:3 Gratz to them though.

i see no need to bring dbsk in this

i absolutely support bigbang their amazing - their music is amazing

but dbsk isn't really active & therefore i see no need to compare the awards won.

bigbang fightingg! im glad they won! they've worked hard for it ~

all in all, it's the "best group award" that matters the most, dbsk still won one of the most important award that night.

Really happy for Big Bang their promotional

work is starting to pay off! Hopefully they can

continue to work in Japan!

Kind of sad that TVXQ won an award and they

weren't even present to accept it. Its sad in the

sense that they're "dis-banded" but still continue

to make history. Anyone else agree?
