Son Ye Jin at Incheon airport 6/2 heading to France for Harper's Bazaar pictorials. 

White blouse, linen shorts, and neat sneakers make her comfortable and romantic, but she did not miss luxury with the Michael Kors Bag.

If your parents against your relationship just like Jin Ah in "Something In The Rain", what do you think you'd do?

Even if my parents against my relationship, I would still follow my will (smile). I have become independent from my parents for a lot of things so my situation is different from Jin Ah.

 

What are the similarities and differences between you and Jin Ah?

Jin Ah is a nice lady, too nice. She is always afraid of hurting people around her so she quietly kept everything to herself. That's why sometimes she couldn't tell the truth or be straightforward. I'm different. I'm very straightforward even if I may hurt other people, I try to be honest and true to myself instead. Honesty, to me, is different from being selfish. This is the difference between me and Jin Ah.

About similarities, we are same age and not married.

 

Yoon Jin Ah feels a lot of pressure at home on marriage issues. What about Son Ye Jin since you are the same age as Jin Ah?

I don't feel any pressure on marriage from my family at all. My parents are not unreasonable  (like that). I'm not really sure about getting married neither. I do want to get married someday but I do not have any details or specific plan on marriage. Marriage is not easy, isn't it? How do I prepare for it if I get married? I don't really know. Maybe I'm thinking too much (laugh).

 

How did "Something In The Rain" change the ways you think of dating and marriage?

My opinion of dating and marriage changes over time so I cannot say it changes through one particular work. Even though I like being carefree, but on the other hand, I also like to be stable. I'm not sure being stable means marriage. Our society seems to expect people to get married at certain age. It seems I'm already past that age. There are a lot of people advised me not to get married. But I also see happy married couples around me and I'm so envious of them. Currently, I feel my single life is not bad and quite comfortable. I don't really know (laugh).

 

Then, what is love to you? Have your thoughts about love changed after the drama?

 

Through this drama, I realize that the definition of "true love" is different for everyone. Because of differences, people talk about it endlessly. We often see many dramas and movies about different kinds of love. Love is very important factor in our lives. It's not limited to a relationship between a man and a woman but extended to parents, children, friends, and other people around us. There could be unconditional love. There could be one-sided love, ect. All are complicated in their own way and never had a complete resolution.

Hey All,

 

I have been working hard to get a Son Ye Jin bluray autographed... not easy to say the least though I am talking with someone who may be interested in doing a trade with me.  That aside, I was wondering if anyone knows how often actors and actresses in Korea do autograph sessions.  My wife and I are going to be in Seoul for about 2 weeks in the second-half of September.  While I doubt anything like this is likely, I just thought I would check to see if anyone here knows how often events like this are done.

SYJ’s old picture with one of her best friend actress Lee Min Jung. They are so cute together. I love them both!! I wish to see them in the same project again. They were together in the movie “white night”.
