Colored Contacts

I just have a lot of questions @.@;

hello everyone who wear contact lenses and everyone else sorry for the trouble, i know there're probably a lot of topics here about contact lenses.. but i am completely clueless on this topic. my issue is that i want to get myself some colored contacts, just for looks and whatnot (my eye color is probably darkest of dark browns hehe) and i just want to brighten my face up.

so ..

will i still have to go to an eye clinic to be able to get proper lenses?

they'll probably measure my cornea or something?

if i do have to go, will it cost me any amount of money?

one more question!

what color would look decent on me? i'd like my eyes to look brighter so maybe something lighter than my eye color (which is probaly any other color except jet black hah) but i'd like it to stay natural-looking..

Yeah, if you dont to ruin ur eyes, you must go to a eye doctor to get proper lenses.

Unfotunately it cost money. The Costco's eye doctor in my area charges around 70 bucks for contact lenses fitting.

Yeah I think Wal-Mart is around 60?

I got circle lenses xD but they haven't came in yet. xD

I've had all sorts of colored lenses. Blue, purple, green, brown/honey, grey etc..

But they were a bit uncomfortable at first because it was a little dark after putting in the lenses.

But I got used to it. When I took them out, everything seemed a lot lighter. Like sunglasses basically.

I got grayish blue. It looked really cool. I think you should try green.

i heard color contacts are very bad for you and can make your vision worse or something like that? i'm not exactly sure, but that's why my brother didn't get them. he really wanted them at first, but the eye doctor told him not to. his vision isn't really bad. you should ask your doctor.
