Lee Hyun Woo and Fujii Mina, the ambassadors of Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival or 'PiFan' for short, showed their chemistry in never-before-seen cuts!

Lee Hyun Woo and Fujii Mina were chosen as the first cover models for PiFan's official newsletter which was published on the same day of the opening of the 17th annual 'PiFan' event on the 18th.

Thanks to their charm and chemistry, the newsletter sold out within 2 hours! In addition to the photos in the newsletter, 'PiFan' has released some never-before-seen cuts of the couple for those looking to add more photos of these two to their collection, or those who were unable to pick up a copy of the newsletter.

Don't they look cute together? Let's hope Fujii Mina's 'husband' Hongki doesn't get jealous!

Fujii Mina was spotted with a handsome young man, and he was not her 'husband' Hongki, but Lee Hyun Woo! But before anyone gets to pointing fingers, the two actually had a very good reason for getting acquainted with one another as they've become the faces of Bucheon's International Fantastic Film Festival or 'PiFan' for short.

 

The actor shared the snapshot on his Twitter as he wrote, "On the set of the poster shoot for the 17th PiFan! It turns out I'll be with Fujii Mina noona. Please give us your interest and look upon us fondly as well!"

 

The film festival will be held in July, so you can bet there will be more activities coming along for these two!

Young Korean stars Lee Hyun-woo and Suzy have teamed up to provide support for a legitimate movie download campaign.

The two, along with movie stars Yoo Ji-tae, Cha Tae-hyun and Han Hyo-joo, have joined star supporters for the “Good Downloader Campaign,” a campaign promoting the downloading of content through legitimate routes, the campaign’s head office said in a press release Thursday.

Including the campaign’s co-chairmen Ahn Seong-gi and Park Joong-hun, the seven stars gathered together to participate in the shooting of the campaign’s new TV commercial Tuesday, under the concept of expressing gratitude for legit download service users.

“It has been five years since this campaign was established in 2009 when illegal downloading was most severe. I appreciate all these fellow actors who weren’t hesitant to join this campaign with no compensation,” co-chairmen Ahn and Park were quoted as saying.

The newly-filmed “Good Downloader” commercial will hit the big screen, cable TV channels and online screens starting in mid-August.

Photos of Lee Hyun Woo’s past recently resurfaced, making us eternally grateful that the child actor has grown up so well.

On July 23’s broadcast of SBS’ Good Morning, the staff focused on four of 2013’s hottest flower boys, which included Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Bin Woo, Lee Jong Seok, and Lee Hyun Woo.

As Lee Hyun Woo made his debut as a child actor, Good Morning released past photos and videos of the actor, showing Lee Hyun Woo impressive acting skills even as a child.

In an old interview video, Lee Hyun Woo bashfully shared that he went into acting because people around him said he had a good-looking face.

With that adorable child actor now considered one of the hottest stars in the industry, netizens commented, “His face is exactly the same. “Secretly, Greatly” star Lee Hyun Woo will be featured in a photo shoot for the August issue of “@star1” magazine.  In the photo shoot, Lee Hyun Woo is dressed simply in a white T-shirt, a black leather jacket, and jeans, and leans against a pole in a playground.  Everything from the languid poses to the slightly furrowed brow, even his hair, evokes the iconic James Dean.  However, those dewy, puppy-dog eyes are all Lee Hyun Woo. 

This year, Lee Hyun Woo, along with Kim Soo Hyun and Park Ki Woong, was cast in the summer action movie “Secretly, Greatly” which was released on June 5, 2013 in South Korea.  The film follows the stories of three North Korean sleeper spies who live under made-up identities while awaiting orders to begin their mission to unify the Koreas.  Lee Hyun Woo lives under the guise of high school student.  Kim Soo Hyun lives under the guise of a village idiot.  Park Ki Woong lives under the guise of an aspiring singer.  The film was also shown at the New York Asia Film Festival, from June 28 to July 15, and can be seen at the Canada Fantasia Film Festival, from July 18 to August 6.   

Lee Hyun Woo, who began his career as a child star, gained a large number of fans as an adult star with a supporting role in the KBS drama “God of Study,” a lead role in the musical production of “Footloose,” and as the MC for SBS music program “Inkigayo.”

Lee Hyun Woo was spotted at the subway recently, according to TV Report.

An online community board titled “Lee Hyun Woo Takes the Subway” posted a picture of the actor sitting amongst everyday people.

The photo, taken by some eager fans, shows two pictures. In one photo, he is looking across the subway in a dark blue jacket, surrounded by people who do not seem to notice him. In another photo, he is wearing a hat and is eating a lollipop. He noticed the fan taking the picture and made eye contact with the camera.

Netizens who saw the photos had a variety of comments such as, “He’s got the pretty boy pose down,” “Whoa, eye contact. Her heart must have stopped,” “I wonder when Lee Hyun Woo was on the subway,” “Wow, he is so cute,” and “Lee Hyun Woo is a total pretty boy.”
