dreamyboo Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 aigoo woolly... it's been a long time i haven't seen u & u posted that news...aigooo~! haaha! just kidding! xD but tq~! yahhh still sad to hear that! i hope they give us a double dose for next week so that we'll be able to last for another week lovekin, mrsjoker, dramaqueennur: i dunno, but i think what yong expressed about being exhausting lately... i think that's what every couple will/should face throughout their relationship. even better, i find that a blessing in disguise. and that's how a healthier relationship starts to develop. when a relationship starts to become stagnant, u'll feel "exhausted" & thus, the next step is to up the relationship. some would go to a higher level by purposely brewing misunderstanding just like what uri yong did. the unfortunate ones would just end abruptly without even proceeding to the next level. but of course it depends on each individual whether they love the person enough to advance. in short, it's pretty normal for yong to have said what he said about being exhausting. at 1st, i took it pretty negatively but after some thoughts... yahh that's where they are now. i'm very surprised at some of u, for still being in doubt about this couple. just 'cause they don't show it doesn't mean they're still unsure about each other. they're there already. believe me (just look at them again in inkigayo... their actions speak of a special relationship). hyun may not be as expressive as we wish her to be, but i guess that's what yong got to like about her... she may be less expressive but she's very sincere. and yong just found out that he likes it that way. no wonder he told hyun not to change LOL! i thought i was the only one who noticed that! glad blueswimboo noticed it too! *hi-5 at blueswimboo* xD btw, i agree with bluekngiht_princess that we shouldn't overanalyze yongseo BUT i'm not overanalyzing at all. it just shows on their faces. they like/love each other a lot NOW. can't u guys see it? whether they'll be together for real in the future, that's another story. so yahhh let's just enjoy~! According to other two fan accounts I read in the SNSD soompi thread posted by iwanttodreamwithyouforeer about the girls, it seems that HOOT was recorded 4.5 times. Thus, is possible that Yong watched one recording completely and then afterwards just watch Seohyun's part as the other person said. Here is the fan accounts in spoiler Fanaccounts of today's rehearsals~ Quote [Translated] Fanacct of Hoot recordings. There are about 400 sones came because there's a mini fanmeeting after inki...The recordings for hoot has ended. They wore a silver colour outfit with a grey colour waistbelt.(space suit) The girls were feeling good and kept waving to us. The Hoot stage for today is different from mubank and mucore. The nine of them hid behind the "G" boards (there were 3 "G" boards) so when the music was on,soshi members came out from the boards. Why no one have posted something?! Regarding the show, I don't think they will or should cancel the program for 3 weeks because they will loose the impulse the show is having right now. They should just move the program to a different time slot. But... in the worst case scenario... Did they said why they decided to start showing additional recorded scenes on their website? Is just that writing this post it came to my mind the possibility that they are going to show small videos on their website to continue giving something to the fans while the show can go back on. I don't know, but it may be a possibility the producers may be thinking for dealing with the situation caused by the TV channel. EDIT heartbreak_warfare22 just informed us that it is going to be canceled for one week instead of 3! So don't bother reading my previous comment hahaha Then it is not so bad. Even though we may not see them in WGM, we should at least be happy that as long as SNSD is promoting Hoot in Inkigayo, they will see each other every week in person, which they couldn't before. Source: dcmarried. so I guess we would miss our dose of goguma for 1 week. although its sad that we would miss YongSeo for 1 week, lets look on the bright side, at least this coming Saturday Hyun's gift to to Yong would be revealed. If we keep on comparing and analyzing their differences, personalities, how they interact with one another, and their REAL relationship then we will be forever confuse. Life has so many mysteries. There is no exact course that will teach us on how to fully understand and read a person's way of thinking or his/her behavior. Even the emotions can never be explained too,so as Love. We may know it, but we can never explain it. Same is true with how hyun really feels for yong and vice versa. It is only the two of them that really know what's going on between them. We cannot tell if they do not like nor love one another just by watching them on wgm. We all know that seohyun is not really into relationships with guys so it is so NEW to her being with yong..but let's just appreciate how she tries her best to be close with him. Let us not rationalize and justify her actions towards yo~ng, and also with how yo~ng treats hy~un..The best thing we can do is to love them without any expectations..enjoy every moment that they share with us through the show..Isn't it more worthwhile to watch if we don't assume much from them? Cause we will be satisfied in whatever they will do. Let us be just contented with their relationship for now. OMG Thank you so much for this post... I envy your writing skills because you write long posts, but they sound succinct and clear. I appreciate your observations and opinions - they are very interesting, and made me consider (okay, doubt...sort of) yongseo's relationship in a different light. It's not often that such a detailed discussion is played out here . Shows how Yongseo affects all of us, really. In particular, what struck me was your counter-argument (mrsjoker), that "feelings" tend to make one stray from their usual personality trait. I think it's quite evident with Hyun - hands down, such a vast improvement, I wouldnt' just label her as being unable to reciprocate. I think she's doing her best to show her care, her way, because this is her first time (in fact, everything that happens with Yong is her first time! hehe), so we have to remember that we won't be seeing what normal teen girls would be doing for their bfs. The ball's in her court to show it, so let's just wait and enjoy it when she does (<--- I just realised this paragraph could be misconstrued as slightly tinged with sexual innuendo...totally didn't mean it hahaha) I have to agree with blueswim_boo - your post was daebak, I re-read it so many times! Yong really does accept Hyun for who she is, and that's the Hyun he feels most at ease with. I thought that was really sweet of him to quote Oh! in that context and it makes him sound like he's also kind of protective in a way? Not sure that's the right word, but I just wanted to say that not only does he want her to be the same, but he doesn't want her to be influenced while he's not there ^^. It was a somewhat intimate message to give her, I reckon. And guys, like heartbreak_warfare22 said, MBC has a big fanbase, so perhaps they might announce time changes to their usual slot. smyo43 Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 well, i can already see that a lot of you guys are doubting this couple because you think that seohyun is not giving so much effort in this show. but for me , i think she really is giving a lot of effort, we all know that she really isn't good with expressing her feelings. i've just watched SNSDs infinite note last night and all of her unnies (taeyeon in particular) told her that she's already in her 20's so she should already have her ideal man and told her that it's not normal already and seohyun told her that it's not because she detest them but it's because she still doesn't have interest in them. her unnies told her to be more versatile and she asked for their help. i can really say that seohyun improved a lot after wgm i can actually say this because she is my bias in SNSD and i think her unnies can also see it based in the way they tease them. i've just finished watching their first episode and i can really tell how much their relationship had progressed. and yonghwa kept saying that she's cute. even though they were awkward during those times, it was worth waiting for them to be comfortable cause you can really see how comfortable they are now with each other. as dreamyboo have said let's not over analyze them.let's just show them our support... i also remember one of the mc's on intimate note said that seohyun's eyes are shining.it's really proven that seohyun has a very lovely shiny eyes..... sorry for my long, boring post.. I wasn't going to write anything this week because I really wanted to save my thoughts until after they show the next episode, but seeing how so many people are analyzing inkigayo and Yongseo's current 'relationship', I thought I would also put my 2 cents in. I'll try to write this as well as I can, but honestly I'm not fantastic with words so I hope this turns out ok!! I do try and look at things as real as possible, but there are times when my imaginations take over a bit which I guess is why every time I write, I make sure that everyone knows that this is simply my opinion based on the fanaccounts, news and translations! Its been interesting reading everyone's opinions. Some I agree with, some I disagree with...but that's ok! I've been trying to write this ALL day and therefore might sound a little choppy because I've added things here and there as I read different posts. It seems like there has been a lot of talk about Seohyun and the rate she has been growing in this relationship with Yonghwa. Concern about Yonghwa being frustrated at Seohyun and things like that. I don't claim to have all the answers, but after watching a lot of SNSD interviews and getting to know who Seohyun is, I hope what I have written help some to understand Seohyun. Seohyun is gorgeous, amazing, smart and many good things but she is also a person. Every person has a good side and a few flaws. Even from the very beginning of WGM, the one thing her and her unnies asked Yonghwa to do was to take care of her and to teach her lots. I think right now, she's in the process of learning about boys but surprisingly, she's also teaching Yonghwa a few things about girls. Honestly, I love and adore Seohyun to bits but I do see how Seohyun can be a bit frustrating sometimes. Her thoughts are so logical, her personality is so 'by the book' that I can imagine that people around her would get frustrated at her. I know that there have been many times in interviews that Seohyun's unnies have expressed their frustrations about their Seohyun, but that doesn't stop them from absolutely adoring and loving her to bits! I think that is just who Seohyun is. As frustrating as her personality might be, its also her charm. Its what makes the people around her love her. After watching different SNSD shows/interviews, I have come to a conclusion that Seohyun is someone who is not very good at recognizing her own emotions. Not only is she not very good at recognizing it, she's also not very good at expressing it. If anyone's watched 'Horror Movie Factory' with SNSD, she is known as 'Kkuk-kkuk-ee' to her unnies - someone who has difficulty expressing her emotions. As the acting teacher pushes Seohyun to be angry, in the midst of the acting she burst into tears. However the teacher had to keep pushing and pushing her until she got to the point of tears, surprising both herself and her unnies. She didn't even recognize she had all that emotion inside of her that was just waiting to come out. We all need to understand this side of Seohyun to understand the reason behind the way she treats Yonghwa. I feel that its not that she doesn't want to express her emotions to Yonghwa, but that she doesn't know how or even what to express. Whereas Yonghwa (who I feel understands and is able to recognize his emotions a lot more), is a lot better at expressing the way he feels about Seohyun. I don't think it means that Seohyun isn't 'giving' as much as Yonghwa because I actually feel like this is Seohyun giving as much as she knows how to give. What we are seeing week after week, the way she cares for him, looks after him, communicates with him is her 100%. When I watch her, I don't feel like she's holding things back from him. Lets not forget, she cares for him a lot outside of the show too. In an interview, I remember Yonghwa saying that she would give him food even when they didn't have to film. She obviously communicates with him a lot outside of the show. We also have to remember that these two are not any ordinary people, they are idols. At the end of the day, there's only so much they can show us whether it be on a show or in real life. For him to say that he knows her better than anyone during the Ueno Juri episode, I would have to come to a conclusion that he understands this side of Seohyun and appreciates Seohyun for being who she is. I think as much as Seohyun frustrates Yonghwa, he can't help but feel happy around her. Just like Jonghyun said in his letter, she makes him happy. He thinks of plans to break down walls, to push her out of her comfort zone, to become closer with her. These are all signs that he is more than willing to invest into Seohyun. He might get frustrated but I feel like that doesn't affect his affection for her at all. If anything, I view his frustration towards her is more like he's trying hard to understand her but can't seem to read her properly. I view this as a positive thing because it means Seohyun constantly surprises him with what she is capable of. Its like every time he thinks he knows her, she surprises him with another side to Seo Joohyun. At the end of the day, we know for a fact that he is grateful towards Seohyun and appreciates who she is. We can never know Yonghwa's thoughts or emotions, but from all the letters and the way he looks at her, I think I can boldly say that Seohyun has never been a burden to Yonghwa. Rather he sees her as a friend who he constantly wants to be closer to. Ok a few issues that have come up in a few posts: About Yonghwa saying he felt 'tired', I don't feel that Yonghwa is tired because he felt Seohyun was being indifferent because I feel like she really showed how she felt towards Yonghwa that night on the fishing trip and he was really touched by what she gave him. I feel like Yonghwa was frustrated that Seohyun couldn't understand his reason behind his decision to not contact her for an entire month. That as a result of this 'game' he started, she has chosen to push him away from her during that entire month. Probably in that month of August as well, she wasn't as transparent as she used to be. She started to text him about the 'boy', test him, question him. It sounded more like he was tired that they were still playing the 'game' and that she was still pushing him away. Also, I find a lot of times the darkroom interviews, they try their best to convey the emotion they were feeling at the time of what we are watching (hope that makes sense). Therefore, I usually don't take what they say in the darkroom as what they are actually feeling when they were saying it (hope that makes sense too!). Regarding the issue of Seohyun speaking Banmal, I feel its more about her trying to break a 18 year old habit rather than it is about her not meeting Yonghwa half-way. I remember when she first had to speak banmal to Yonghwa due to failing her drivers license, she said in the darkroom that she needs to practice speaking banmal to the wall. Then during the spaghetti outing, when Yonghwa let her off with speaking in banmal, she said to him that she will try by dropping a bit of the formality. Bit by bit, she's trying to break her habit. So I think for her, she's actually trying and working on it. Its become a habit, a habit that is obviously really hard for her to break. Even when she wanted to, she couldn't. Remember when she had to say a message to Yonghwa in the darkroom using banmal? Even when he wasn't in front of her, she kept having to stop herself from speaking formally. I'm sure for her to even try speaking banmal to Yonghwa is already more than she's ever done for her unnies (which I think says volumes). Now about Inkigayo, they were purely being the professionals they are. Despite the rules and the awkwardness, I saw massive sparks! I'm sure I'm not the only one, seeing her unnie's reactions...I know I'm not the only one! I love both of them individually. I think the thing that remains truly unique to this couple is they've always taken things at their pace - Yonghwa being patient with Seohyun, Seohyun giving her 100% to WGM. Together, bit by bit, they've created a team called 'YongSeo'. HAHA super LONG post! Thanks to everyone who read it to the very end....! Ahh its such a relief to finally finish that!!! No WGM next week? They BETTER HAD FINISH THE 200 DAY CELEBRATION STORYLINE THIS WEEK! Otherwise I will have to book a flight to Korea and break into MBC WGM Editing room, hold everyone hostage until they give me every unedited YongSeo cut and then take the first flight back home! Also, if they will not be able to air 3 episodes, it means that they will edit out more scenes of our Goguma couple... This makes me really sad... But at least SNSD will be performing 3 times a week in music programs... and every week, Yong ang Hyun will be able to meet at Inkigayo... I hope that WGM staff will do something about this, like, they should release many videos that were edited out... I will truly miss our Goguma couple... EDIT was it really confirmed that it will only be cancelled for 1 week? if that's so... then it's tolerable... 1 week is better than 3 weeks... i hope it's really only for 1 week... but it's better if it wasn't cancelled at all... of all the time slots, why do they have to choose WGM's time slot? aigoo.. But at the same time,imo, Inki's stage on Sunday wasn't exactly a good platform for how far their relationship has progress. I was checking their calendar updates and so far, it showed that there were no filming for both of them after the "driving truck episode". Before that was the Japanese filming. This might also explain why there will be a break of 3 weeks for WGM. MBC have to have enough footage to last them a few weeks/months(?) before allowing the current filmings to be aired. Unlike WGM season 1,most of the footsges are fresh. However, for this season, somehow most of the footages are like 1 month old..but like the Korean Goguma Villagers have stated: We''ll watch whatever you';; show us, PD-nim sorry to cut your post I have to agree with you that Inkigayo's stage is not a good platform to see how far their relationship has progressed. We have to bear in mind that their interaction is bound to be limited because it is a music program and the interview is between MCs and the comeback artists not between friends/close friends.Even the longest running couple in WGM (Adam couple) has a very limited interaction when the wife had her comeback stage too. So I don't really understand what the fuss is all about. About the nonchalant action that uri Yong has displayed in the past 2 episodes, my guess is, it is a part of his mildang scenario that he has to play it well. We could all see that he put down the "cold mask" the moment he gave the journal to Hyun (being shy about it). I think we should see the next episode, when he receive present(s) from his wife, to decide whether the nonchalant act is just an act or that he really is feeling frustrated (exasperated) about their relationship. And just like dramaqueennur said: We, Goguma villagers will watch (and be happy) whatever the production staff of WGM show us Goguma couple is love!! Sorry if anyone gets offended by my post. Yoong in the fan accounts is Yoona. Its her nickname. Yul or Kwon Yul is Yuri. Tae -> Taeyeon Fany -> Tiffany Sadly, this particular fans were only paying attention to the girls, instead of Yongseo. That is why they don't mention them. I also want to thank Lovekin and mrsjoker for your always insightful posts. Lovekin, please continue to share your crtitical thoughts. We may talk as if we are in a cloud, but I am aware of some of the points you make, and even have agreed to some of them. Although I feel that there is more to Yongseo than just for the show based on similarities with my own personal experience, I know sometimes we may be biased by what we want them to be or what they are thinking or feeling at a particular moment. Its good to read your comments because it brings additional perspectives we may not think about. Also, I have to say that you are an example in this thread. You are evidence that you can express a different opinion respectfully, without insulting others, and still aware of what the others think. That says a lot about you as a person (Critical but conscious hahhaa) and as has been said, you have a way with words!! Lovekin and Chedda - The more controversial the comment, the more I want to read it. Gogumas who doesnt like to read negative comments, pls do not read my spoiler I tended to agree to what you guys said. I am rather happy that there are realist out there like me too. I mean you can love and support the couple and still be critical of them. A few things to share off my head. Previously I posted about their astrology signs many pages but I didnt say much. I just feel that I have to say it now. Although the saving grace is that both Yong and Hyun are cancerians, Yong has his moon in free and friendly aquarius but Hyun's moon in serious Capricorn. From this point, Hyun's emotional reaction doesnot give Yong much comfort. Hyun need structure and down to earth response but Yong has his eccentric ideas, so Hyun will feel insecure too. So in that sense, they dont get the emotional support from each other. I am not surprise that they can misunderstand each other's feelings. Neither of them are wrong, it just boils down to personality differences. You can google about the meaning of the moon signs. The other point I wanted to say is that after watching the Incheon concert episode, my heart kind of tanked. I posted it before too. Both Yong and Hyun had a long day. Starting from the morning at their house, than Yong had to do his MC thing then dash to Incheon. The WGM ep also put the end time at Incheon concert as 9.40pm. Incheon is one hour from Seoul, so by the time they reach home it will at least been around 11pm. No wonder Yong said that he is tired when he walked thru the door. And after that they still go out to have icecream? I just cant help but to think that the two of them have to summon alot of energy to look cheerful for WGM and put in alot of effort in their acting too. I was rather disillusioned from that point.However since they spend so much time with each other, I really tink they would have a chance to develop their feelings. My husband knows that I am watching this program because I keep raving about it than he asked me an acid question: "Can they not like each other?" I was rather startled by his comment, since the premise is quite true. They cant possibly hate each other if they are doing WGM. But from all the eps, it seems like WGM got lucky and managed to pair this two that really do like each other. So I am keeping my faith and my love for them. I love all the analitical post, they make me rethink a few things and agree that I think just like them regarding some issues... I think been analitical, dont identify us as doubting Yongseo, we love them in our own way... For me their interactions and reactions to each other speak louder than anything they can say. Well since this is a new page, I just found a video of Sukira with SNSD... SH is wearing the ring... I am wondering if she is going to be asked about it... Thinking about it, now that they are promotioning "Hoot" we are going to see them in a lot of shows... kekekeke Hope she gets asked about YH, like the time CNBLUE was promoting an YH is the one that was living in the spot. Thanks to you we can spazz even more The fan accounts from inkigayo defintiely make me happy. But ah, a week's cancellation is going to be hard. But when I think that, I also remember the many, MANY weeks (almost 2 months in total) after the Cheongnam tragedy and the MBC strikes where we didn't even know when/if there was going to be another broadcast. Those were hard times. But, the one thing that made it easier and better to get through was this thread. Our goguma family. We told stories, posted pictures, spazzed and made those weeks without WGM happy weeks. It just makes me appreciate what a good thing we have here. And makes me regret not posting more lately. Thank you goguma family. I see some discusison about YongHwa and SeoHyun's progress, and I had some thoughts in my head, but many have already given some great opinions that I wholeheartedly agree with. To dreamyboo, blueknight-princess, smyo43, constantia11 and many others who have shared your thoughts.. thank you! You have said so well what I feel inside. Edit: thank you kerube-chan for the video!
