Definitely. :)

I heard he and Leehom Wang had this collaboration, but because they were in different companies, the song couldn't be released. Bummer. Really hope they do release it. Leehom and JJ Lin, it'll be an amazing combination!

Yeah I was extremely dissapointed, Leehom said they had finished recording the song everything, the whole deal.

but becuase there was miscommunication between the two companies they had to scrap the project. Boo-hoo

Leehom was on CNN and they asked him which one of the new comers was Leehom's favorite and mentioned Gary Cao and JJ Lin.

I was so happy because GARY CAO and JJ LIN are some of my favorites as well. Although JJ isn't that "new" anymore.

JJ lin has an awesome voice, soft and soothing.

Well at first I listened to only a couple song, but when I was in China last month I decided to buy a copy of his lastest CD Cao Cao.

I can't stop listening to him, of course I only like some songs but in response to someone wanting to listen to an english song of his... I'd say "Now that she's gone" is a great song if you like slow emotional songs.

I think his popularity will rise in the near future. ^_^

that's my 2 cents on JJ Lin.

JJ had his concert in Shanghai not long ago, and he just had his concert in Singapore June 24th.

Search on yourtube for some clips of his concert. From the looks of it, it went well =)

I didn't see any official threads for JJ Lin? *blink* Omo. Well then, If that's the case (?) then onwards!

JJ Lin is one of my top musical inspirations! The top Chinese one for sure for me anyway. I really think he has an elegant voice and his way with words in Mandarin as well as English is amazing to me. ^^ I think he's my favourite solo artist! I bet there's many other fans out there too?

Here's some background!

------------------------------------------------

Well, I noticed Chinese isn't quite as big as Japanese and more so Korean generally. Most of the time, it's because non-Chinese speaking listeners find Chinese a bit choppy and unharmonic. I have to agree to some degree, but this boy right here, proves all that wrong.

JJ was the first Chinese artist I ever really became familiar with. I had tried a few chinese songs but it was never a language in song, that grew on me. But really, JJ has a voice that can blow your face off. He's also really, really musically insipring to me.

Biography

Wayne Lin Jun Jie (Simplified Chinese: 林俊杰, Traditional Chinese: 林俊傑; pinyin: Lín Jùnjié; born on March 27, 1981) is more commonly known as JJ Lin. He is a Singaporean singer and songwriter of Chinese Fujian descent, and he came to musical prominence and success in the Greater China region, and particularly in Taiwan, where he was awarded the "Best New Artiste" award in the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards.

Signed to Ocean Butterflies, he has written songs for various artistes, notably Ji De (Remember) for Taiwanese singer A-Mei, and fellow labelmate A-do's Fang Shou.

Back in Singapore, he was chosen to perform the remixed version of Home, the theme song of the National Day Parade in 2004. His career and notability began to rise astronomically in Singapore particularly with the aid of his music being used in television dramas produced by MediaCorp TV Channel 8, and his increased public appearances, such as being the guest performer in the finals of Channel U's Project SuperStar.

After winning the Gold award in the Best New Act category in the 2004 Singapore Hit Awards, he went on to sweep the 2005 edition with four awards to his name, including the Best Local Male Artiste, Best Composing Artiste, Best Male Vocalist and Best Local Music Composition awards, recognising his talents both in the composition and performance aspects of his music. His latest album, Cao Cao, sold 2 million copies in just two weeks.

I <3 JJ Lin.

I wonder when he's gonna release another album?

I've been waiting!

I heard that his new album is coming out around April or May. That's around the same time as Leehom's. I have to save up money now. :D
