Have interview tomorrow at mens fashion store
Heyas

I need major help. So after dropping off my resume at Rodd and Gunns (Australian based) this morning, I was granted an interview on the spot, which will be taking place tmrw afternoon.

Pretty nervous bc the store's quite formal. And it's in town.

I need to make a good first impression and land the job of course lol.

So what's a stylish, semi formal yet not too formal outfit? Pics and links would be great!

Thankss <3

I'm a girl btw haha.

I googled it and came up with these two articles, I honestly didn't read either though so look over them and then if you have any questions you can probably just post a reply /double check with the people here

edit: omfg how embarassing I just looked up interview attire for men, I apologize

There's a thread here:

http://www.soompi.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=328628 about fashionable business attire, you can look there for some inspiration

I think Jcrew balances formal & fun very well. I work in fashion so no suits for me, but if I worked in a business environment [finance, law, etc.] that is how I would dress.

Ooh thanks. Okay I'm opting for a high waisted pencil skirt and a white shirt lol (yeah typical huh). Can't find my black blazer -_-.

Do you think there are any extra things they're looking for (besides being well presented and confident/professional)? Since this store is only catered for men. Would I have to wear more makeup or ...??

Just as long as you:

-don't show skin above the knee

-don't show cleavage

-don't wear jewelry

-don't wear jeans (im assuming you know this but im just adding it anyways)

-don't wear perfume that makes others smell you from 10 feet away

-don't chew gum

-wear natural makeup
