mintcracker
Have interview tomorrow at mens fashion storeHeyas I need major help. So after dropping off my resume at Rodd and Gunns (Australian based) this morning, I was granted an interview on the spot, which will be taking place tmrw afternoon. Pretty nervous bc the store's quite formal. And it's in town. I need to make a good first impression and land the job of course lol. So what's a stylish, semi formal yet not too formal outfit? Pics and links would be great! Thankss <3 I'm a girl btw haha.
Guest saiainoshi
Wear business casual, sticking to black and white is usually good, and not too heavy on the makeup or perfume. :]

Guest nicorobin
I think Jcrew balances formal & fun very well. I work in fashion so no suits for me, but if I worked in a business environment [finance, law, etc.] that is how I would dress. J Crew
mintcracker
Ooh thanks. Okay I'm opting for a high waisted pencil skirt and a white shirt lol (yeah typical huh). Can't find my black blazer . Do you think there are any extra things they're looking for (besides being well presented and confident/professional)? Since this store is only catered for men. Would I have to wear more makeup or ...??
Guest .oOLimOo.
Just as long as you: -don't show skin above the knee -don't show cleavage -don't wear jewelry -don't wear jeans (im assuming you know this but im just adding it anyways) -don't wear perfume that makes others smell you from 10 feet away -don't chew gum -wear natural makeup GL!
