No matter what.
Okay, should this be in the hair thread? Beacuse it's not about hairstyle.. more about.. how my hair is. Anyways moving on. Okay, I have straight hair. Heck, VERY straight hair. I dont need to blow dry or straighen it or anything and it's PIN straight. When compare to people who do straighten thier hair, heck I'm even straighter.

My hair just doesnt curl. I got it done at a salon from a dance. The guy was like okay you're done. Let me go fix up that lady and I'll be back to just fix whatever curls thats out of place. That guy left. Came back 10 minutes my hair was straight. ...No matter much how hairsrapy, gel, mouse ANYTHING on it or how long my curling iron is curling it and such it comes back straight. ..Heck. I'm mad.

What can I do? And no, perms make me hair straight. Dont sugguestion that. T_T

Here's a picture as well.

Wow. I must say, that is a weird situation. Is your hair really thick? I'm just wondering because my friend has super thick hair and she's in the same problem with you too.

x_o; i know a lot of ppl that would kill for straight hair :P

but in ur case i guess it's not so great eh? ><;;

hmm well okay this is a really old method but frenchbraid ur hair when it's wet (or semi-wet) and go to sleep with it on. When you wake up put some like mousse on it while it's still in braids and after u take out the elastics mousse it again :D goooood luck

OMG! I have the SAME problem as you. I hate it, I tie it up in a bun and then not even 5 minutes later, it's back straight as ever. My hair is very fine and straight but when I go to sleep with my hair slightly wet, I sometimes wake up with slight waves but it doesn't last very long either. I haven't tried a perm yet but it seems your problem is worse than mine because I'm thinking a perm would make my hair curlier? Straight hair is straight cause it's flat but perming it makes the hair strands round. The only thing I like about it is that it's soft and healthy.

omg im sooooooooooooo envious to uu just cant imagine how much time i loose every morning for straightening hair, mines tend to curl or be very curly,so everyday im straightening them,i wish that i had that kind of hair, then i also could have fringes, lol

is u want to have curly hair, why dont u just go to hairdresser where they curl ur hair for a long time(dont know how to call this in english :( )

You have defiant hair!

Haha i don't know spongeesox said, thin your hair

maybe it might work better

your hair looks like the type in hair commercials, you know, thick and glossy and whee. flips hair

mine doesn't curl

but mine isn't as straight as having it straightened, although it's really straight

it's frustrating..curls looked nice on me but only lasted for like 2 hours and took so long to do too :(

i used to have your problem, but then i got a super fab hairdresser lol :)

hmm.. try bunnylicious' hair curling w/ flatiron tutorial..

a flat iron works bettr than a curling iron (i find), and its especially effective cause it's at a super high heat..

but if you're sure this wont work then, perhaps hot rollers..

or velcro ones cause you can leave them in overnight, but they're such a pain to sleep with

perhaps you can invest in some good quality products?

BUT my hairdresser told me that the biggest problem with asian hair (and the reason why its so straight) is cause our hair contains a high amount of protien, which causes it to be heavier and straight :(

if anything, i recommend a nice chemical wave/perm

goodluck!!
