6 Actors And Acting-dols That Would Be Perfect With Kim SoHyun In Drama “Mung Bean Chronicles”

 

Have you heard the news that the popular webtoon “Mung Bean Chronicles” also called “Mung Bean Pancake” (in Korean “녹두전”) is being remade in a drama? Many have been excited at the news!

 

It is a romantic comedy drama set in Joseon. It tells the romance between a man who is disguising as a woman to infiltrate a community for widows (Jun NokDoo) and a girl that hates the idea of becoming a gisaeng (Dong DongJoo). Kim SoHyun has been confirmed as Dong DongJoo.

 

 

 

However, the actor for Jun NokDoo is not confirmed yet! Jang DongYoon is in talks to take the role. Many are waiting for his confirmation.

 

Jun NokDoo is an 18 years old man and his real name is LeeDuk. He was preparing to get married but ran out of his house because the bride was only five years old. To escape from his family, he changed his name and dresses like a girl. He doesn’t dislike the fact to dress like a girl. In the webtoon, he looks very pretty as a woman, prettier than Dong DongJoo.

 

The actor to be casted as Juk NokDoo need to (1) be able to look prettier than a girl when disguising as a girl (2) look great and at ease with Joseon settings (3) have great chemistry with Kim SoHyun (born in 1999).

 

Who would be the perfect cast for Jun NokDoo if Jang DongYoon does not confirm? We thought about 6 actors and acting-dols that would suit perfectly in this role!
