(SBS Star) Kim Soo Hyun's Agency Shares New Photos of the Actor in the Military Uniform

Actor Kim Soo Hyun's management agency KEYEAST gave an update on the actor's military life with his recent photos.

On June 10, KEYEAST posted two photos of Kim Soo Hyun online.
In the photos, Kim Soo Hyun is standing up straight and raising his hand in salute towards the camera inside a glass building with bamboo trees.

 

He is wearing the military uniform with a special patch that said, 'DMZ (the Korean Demilitarized Zone) Police'. Along with the photos, KEYEAST wrote, "Kim Soo Hyun initially received grade 4 when he had his military physical examination. So, the Military Manpower Administration decided that he was more suitable to serve his national mandatory duty as a public service worker instead of an active-duty soldier. But Kim Soo Hyun worked on recovering his health after that and managed to receive grade 1 in his next physical examination."

 

The agency continued, "Then, Kim Soo Hyun volunteered to serve his duty at First Reconnaissance Battalion, which is a military base located in the heart of the DMZ (a piece of land running across the Korean Peninsula that serves as a buffer zone between North and South Korea). It is where all soldiers have to stay alert at all times. It can get very dangerous."

They added, "There, Kim Soo Hyun had done an outstanding job; not only did he get early promotion, but he also joined the 'top' team that consists of soldiers with excellent performance. Please welcome him back to the society with open arms when he returns next month." Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun is expected to be discharged from the military on July 1.

Actor Kim Soo-hyun to be discharged from the military on July 1st

Kim Soo-hyun's Agency Keyeast recently released photos and said, "Military Life was Excellent."

Photos of actor Kim Soo-hyun (31) have been released to Public.

Kim Soo-hyun's agency Keyeast posted two photos of Kim Soo-hyun on their official Instagram on June 10th.

In the picture, Kim Soo-hyun is staring at the front, wearing a military uniform and beret. He is saluting in his dignified position.

 

One can guess that the rank engraved on the uniform in the mosaic form and blurry is the mark of the sergeant. This is why we can see that this photo is a recent photo of Kim Soo-hyun who is about to be discharged from military service.

 

Kim Soo-hyun's uniform has a name tag with the phrase "Civil Police - DMZ Police." The Civil Police is a marker given to soldiers who working near the Demilitarized Zone under the armistice agreement. Usually given to soldiers in the infantry regiment who work on The Iron Fences .

 

Keyeast briefly mentioned Kim Soo-hyun's life in the military, along with photos. " Kim Soo-hyun was identified as a fourth-grade public service worker in his first physical examination, but received a first-grade on re-examination through steady health care " Keyeast said.

 

Kim Soo-hyun then volunteered to join the search squad of the Army's 1st Division on Oct. 23, 2017. Keyeast said " The unit Kim Soo-hyun is serving is one that carries out search and ambush operations at the front line ".

 

According to Keyeast, Kim Soo-hyun was chosen as a TOP team and a special fighter while serving in the military in the search squad. Among infantry units, the search squad lives like a special forces unit and they gathers excellent manpower to form a TOP team.

 

Among the general infantry units, the search squad needs strong stamina and mental strength like the special forces because of the nature of its mission. For this reason, individuals and team competencies are evaluated within the search team to form a top-level team. Kim Soo-hyun, who belonged to the TOP team, is said to have been promoted early.

 

Kim Soo-hyun is scheduled to be discharged from the military on July 1.
