There was news that Soo Hyun might appear in the new drama directed by Choi Dong-hoon [ The thieves ], but everything is still waiting for the official announcement

Is it true? :o

Right now it's all speculations since Soo Hyun has stated he will not have any projects until next year. The industry seems convinced he is waiting for his contract with Keyeast to end before he picks up anything, and director Choi's new movie will start filming the end of the year or early next year. There have been some other names rumored to be casted in this movie, but the director's rep have clarified that the casting is not yet confirmed.

Director Choi Dong-hoon says casting for his latest film is currently up in the air.

Caper Film sources said, "The scenario is still a work in progress and previous reports about the title being "Alien" is not true".  "Names like JJH, KWB, RJY and KTR that were mentioned in the press haven't even been asked about their schedules, nor have they been verbally cast for the film".

Here's the translation of Soo Hyun's article regarding this (the rest is about his discharge):

The entertainment industry believes that Kim Soo Hyun will decide on his next project after his exclusive contract with Keyeast ends later this year. There is the possibly he may work on director Choi Dong Hoon's new film, who they previously collaborated in "The Thieves".

Whether he decides to stay or leave his agency and whether he will return through director Choi Dong Hoon's new film, these topics are a growing interest of many fans.

Is he really 31 years old ? He is so cute

Hi hwonhwon, he looks so young being 31-years old in western calendar. We all know that he's 32 already in Lunar calendar..... For those who are new in K-pop, rather than calculating age based on the actual, physical number of days, months, and years that have passed since the moment of one’s birth, South Korea uses the lunar calendar to determine age, and this somehow manages to add from 1 to 2 years on to someone’s physical age. How does this work? When you are born, you are immediately considered to be one year old — and so the moment you pop out of the womb, despite being only seconds-to-minutes old, you’re already celebrating your literal first birthday.) In Korea, a newborn baby is considered one year’s old at birth because the nine months of pregnancy count as part of the child’s first year of life. Koreans also experience a collective birthday every Lunar New Year as their Korean age counts the number of years they’ve been alive during as opposed to the length of time you’ve been alive for. Your actual birthday may not be until December, but you will still age up as soon as the Lunar New Year arrives since Korean age can add one to two years to your international age. Most Koreans celebrate both Western New Year and Lunar New Year. Koreans count themselves one year older on January 1, not on their actual birthdays. So, in Korea, when the new year comes everyone grows one year older all together. :P

Thanks for sharing MORE discharge pictures here. I'm happy to see him to be in good shape. He's darned sure saying that he will be active early next year. Waiting for this, KSH! :P

The Oppas Are Back

Stars in their early 30s get discharged from the military. Lee Min-ho, Im Si-wan, Kim So-hyun come back.

Stars who have been playing the main roles on the small screen for a while, and left the audience for two years after being called by the nation are getting ready to return. Lee Min-ho (32), Kim Soo-hyun (31), Im Si-wan (31), Ji Chang-wook (32), Joo Won (31) and Kang Ha-neul (30) are some of them. They were actively involved with acting until right before they left for National Service, and anticipation for them is not only heightening in the showbiz, but amongst viewers too.

Kim Soo-hyun is also aiming for a comeback next year. As he was being discharged he said, "I'll see you next year".

The showbiz welcomes them. This is even more so because there are no major topics to talk about in the lineup of various dramas. Kang Byung-taek from the KBS drama department said, "The return of those from the military will thicken the list of names to choose from for future casting. We hope their different colors and traits bring life into the drama industry".
