Kim Soo Hyun Is the One Who Introduced Park So Joon to His First Agency?

%EB%8B%A4%EC%9A%B4%EB%A1%9C%EB%93%9C-2-c

The relationship between Park Seo Joon and Kim Soo Hyun has been revealed.

Recently, OBS’s Unique Entertainment News (literal translation) introduced the story of actor Park Seo Joon.

Park Seo Joon actually faced a tough time even after he was discharged from the military. When he auditioned, people pointed out his face that he “didn’t have a face for an actor” or “was old-fashioned” and also criticized his “child-like” way of talking.

With the constant failures, Park Seo Joon even thought of undergoing plastic surgery, but decided to put more effort to show his charm that slowly and quietly captivates people.

Then, when he was working as a bit-part actor in a short film, his friend Kim Soo Hyun introduced him to KeyEast, and Park Seo Joon signed a contract with the company after a short meeting without an audition, finally taking a step further as an actor.

In 2011, He finally made his official debut by starring in Bang Yong Guk’s “I Remember” music video and took on the role of Shi Woo in Dream High 2 in 2012.

Then in 2013, he met drama I Summon You, Gold! that gave him a turning point in his acting career. One day, he got a call from the company that there will be an audition for the drama later that day, and ran to the studio. There, he performed one of his most confident audition repertoires,

Architecture 101’s Nab Deuk Yi scene, and came through a competition of 100 to 1 to get the role of Park Hyun Tae.

Since then, he starred in various dramas, including Witch’s Romance, Kill Me, Heal Me, She Was Pretty, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, and Itaewon Class, solidifying his position as the next Hallyu star.

tvN and Netflix's original drama "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" receives sanctions for the usage of slander, genitalization, and justification of sexual harassment

1598478731-image.png

The broadcasting review subcommittee of the Korea Communications Standards Commission submitted the tvN drama 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay' to the plenary session with the opinion of judicial sanctions.

On August 26th KST, the Broadcasting Review Subcommittee of the Korea Communications Standards Commission (Chairman Heo Mi Sook) stated at a meeting held at the broadcasting center in Mok-dong, Seoul, that tvN and OtvN's 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay' were submitted to the plenary session with the opinion that the drama portrayed contents of male genitalization, sexual harassment, justification of sexual harassment, and explicit verbal abuse.

1598480058-image.png

The Korea Communications Standards Commission stated, "Considering that it is an expression to highlight the characters of the characters in the drama, broadcasting content that has possibly focused on the libido on non-sexual objects that symbolize the sex organs and justify sexual harassment clearly shows the lack of gender sensitivity of the production team. The excessive verbal abuse that is used in the drama that is aired during the youth viewing protection time has inevitably led to court sanctions."

If the degree of violation of regulations related to broadcasting review is severe, penalties or court sanction will be finalized at a plenary session consisting of all nine members of the review committee upon the recommendation of the subcommittee. Points will be deducted from the broadcasting evaluation conducted annually by the Korea Communications Commission if broadcasters, news reports, cable channels, and home shopping PPs are subject to fines or legal sanctions.

10 K-Drama OSTs That Still Give Us The Feels

There are always those K-Drama OSTs that bring back all the feels from the dramas, whether it be happy or sad. OSTs can single handedly evoke emotions that we thought we'd let go of with respect to the drama. We count down a few of our favourite K-drama OSTs in this article

9. "Wake Up" by Elaine (It's Okay To Not Be Okay)

Another OST from a recent drama, this one is a huge hit with fans of the drama globally as it usually accompanies cute and quirky scenes in the drama rather than some of the emtionally heavy ones. While the drama was rife with emotionally charged situations, the happy little bits are just as, if not more refreshing. Ko Mun Young and Moon Gang Tae fall in love surely and steadily but sometimes all at once and this song perfectly represents that fall.

20 Relatable Quotes From “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” That Will Stick With Us Forever

These are truly some wise words to live by.

wOSKU4HUWsjdjt4cOrVKtJ_nY5mz-WSKI8ksa1mh

Netflix and tvN‘s It’s Okay to Not Be Okay may have ended almost a month ago, but it’s going to take a lot longer than that for the drama to leave our hearts. And some of the most relatable moments will probably stick with us forever—like these 20 memorable quotes.

Spoiler

Hurtful, painful memories. Only those with such memories buried in their hearts can become stronger, more passionate, and emotionally flexible. And only those can attain happiness.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Some things can’t be torn apart no matter how hard you try to do so.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

You shouldn’t be embarrassed about being sad.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Do children have to be useful to their parents?

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

People are all hypocrites. We all live with a lot of hatred, but we act like that’s not the case.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Your body is honest. When you’re in physical pain, you cry. But the heart is a liar. It stays quiet even when it’s hurting. Then, when you’re asleep, you finally weep and whimper like a dog.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Only those who have suffered truly understand suffering.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

I am done with being someone who is needed by others.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

If you want to make people around you happy, you have to find your own happiness first. Being selfish isn’t always a bad thing. Try to only think about your happiness when things are too stressful. It’s okay to do that.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Love is all about patience.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

I’ve been tied up for way too long, so I forgot how to cut myself free.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

You can cherish and care about people in different ways. Think about the different kinds of yellow. Even the same color can take different names depending on its chroma. The same goes for human emotions, such as affection. Fondness, hatred, love, friendship, and lust. They are like a rainbow.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

A fairy tale isn’t a hallucinogen that gives us hopes and dreams. It’s a stimulant that makes us face reality.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Don’t make the same mistake I did and try to run when you can’t even walk. When you’re tired, get some rest. When you’re sad, go ahead and cry. It’s okay to take a break. Then one day, there will surely come a day when you’ll be able to run again.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

If you can’t erase it, you just need to cover it with something better.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Everyone is good and bad. We all live with both traits

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

You can’t get out once you’re trapped in the past. You won’t be able to see the door.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Adults can’t always be right. We make mistakes until the day we die.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

The first step is always the hardest. But once you take the first step, things will get easier from then on.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

Don’t forget any of it. Remember it all and overcome it.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay
