Gong Hyojin definitely killed the red carpet game on the 2nd day of 2018 S/S Seoul Fashion Week. 

She showed up with a white printed shirt, high-waist loose fit jeans, a colorful long coat, and, of course, a unique combination of heels. She did not color-coordinate her shoes. Instead, the fashionista decided to wear heels that are different colors and it totally went well with her colorful coat and sunglasses. She is such a character, isn't she?

KONG Hyo-jin Enters DOOR LOCK and BBAENGBAN
Actress Teams Up with Directors HAN Jun-hee and LEE Kwon

Top star KONG Hyo-jin has lined up a pair of new projects to be shot back to back early next year. The actress will appear in LEE Kwon’s Door Lock, which will begin rolling at the beginning of the year while HAN Jun-hee’s Bbaengban is scheduled to start production in the spring.

 

Director LEE, who helmed My Ordinary Love Story, the horror romantic comedy with SONG Sae-byeok and KANG Ye-won that served as the closing film of the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2014, returns with his third project, which is described as a mystery-thriller about the horrors faced by women.

 

Coin Locker Girl (2015) filmmaker HAN is preparing Bbaengban, a car chase thriller that will feature KONG as a member of an investigation team that focuses on hit and runs. HAN’s gangland debut premiered in the Critics’ Week sidebar of the Cannes Film Festival and featured KIM Hye-soo and KIM Go-eun. Beyond GONG, A Taxi Driver star RYU Jun-yeol and JO Jung-suk of My Love, My Bride (2014) have been offered lead and supporting roles respectively, but neither have confirmed their participation.

 

Known to film viewers since 1999’s Memento Mori and even more well known as a TV star and model, KONG’s most famous on-screen credits include Crush and Blush (2008), last year’s Missing and A Single Rider.

Actress Gong Hyo-jin became a spring goddess as she took a spring-themed photoshoot for the fashion magazine, W.

 

On March 21st, popular fashion magazine W released couple of photos from Gong Hyo-jin's photoshoot in the April edition, which was done in collaboration with the makeup brand NARS.

 

 

In the photos, Gong Hyo-jin is seen with colorful flowers and makeup suitable for those flowers, vivid, yet soft. The silky coral colored lips and cheeks on her beautiful face makes the photos look dreamy. Her spring warm toned skin suits the look perfectly.

 

The photos released made many women jealous of Gong Hyo-jin's flawless skin and vibrant energy.

KONG Hyo-jin Wraps Up DOOR LOCK
New Thriller from Director of MY ORDINARY LOVE STORY

Upcoming Korean thriller Door Lock with KONG Hyo-jin wrapped up three months of production on March 14. Directed by LEE Kwon, the film is now in post-production and preparing for a release in the second half of the year.

 

KONG features in Door Lock as a woman living by herself in a one-room apartment. When she returns home one day she realizes that someone broke in and soon a murder case begins to unravel.

 

Known for her many TV roles, and for films such as Crush and Blush (2008) and MISSING (2016), KONG is currently on screens with a cameo in the melodrama Be With You, which stars SON Ye-jin and SO Ji-sub.

 

The busy star is foregoing a break after Door Lock, having already jumped straight back into production on HAN Jun-hee’s action-thriller Bbaengban alongside RYU Jun-yeol.

 

Also featuring in the film are KIM Ye-won of Run Off (2016), prolific character actor KIM Sung-oh, seen recently in Missing You (2016) and last year’s The Merciless (2017), and JO Bok-rae from C'est Si Bon (2015), who is currently on screens in The Princess and the Matchmaker.

 

Director LEE was last in theaters with the romcom-thriller My Ordinary Love Story (2014), which served as the closing film of the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2014. He debuted with Attack on the Pin-up Boys in 2007.
