Michael Bay Orders Megan Fox to the Doctor Before 'Transformers 3'

Director Michael Bay announced a third "Transformers" movie will be hitting theaters on July 1, 2011 -- and not 2012 as originally thought -- on his web site on Thursday. And he also took the opportunity to further his war of words with his star, Megan Fox, by telling her to consult with a doctor before getting on board.

Fox originally drew Bay's ire while promoting this summer's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," when she said that "working with Michael Bay is not about an acting experience." Bay responded, "She says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do." Most recently, Fox compared Bay to "Napoleon" and said she and costar Shia LaBeouf "almost die when we make a 'Transformers' movie... He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do."

In this latest blog post, Bay writes, "Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture." He goes on to say, "Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazeforeardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you."

Release date is 2011? That's a bit too soon..was rather disappointed with Transformers II. They should at least release It by 2013 get things right, at least to the same quality as Transformers.

well i already heard this from a "friend" and i totally can't wait to see what Bay got plans for this movie!!!

EDIT!!!!

I got some bad news guys!!

Oric, Kurtzman NOT RETURNING IN TRANSFORMER 3!!! Here is the article i found

Roberto Orci has confirmed that he and his writing partner Alex Kurtzman are not returning to write Transformers 3 on the Don Murphy forum So Bob and Alex is it true. you wont be involved this time round.

It's true.

Sorry to hear that Roberto, really I am. Are we in good hands with Mr. Kruger? Does he know his Transformers?

He does. He really did his homework. He's awesome.

There you have it. Orci and Kurtzman are out, Ehren Kruger is in. Whether that is good news or not probably depends on your feelings regarding much of the humor of the second film (the Twins, Devastator's balls, etc) as most of that came from the minds of Bay and Kruger. As always, time will tell.

So there you have it guys, I don't know if this is good news or bad news to you guys!!!

wooow. Seriously?

I don't think I'll be watching #3.

Transformers 2 disappointed me, but maybe. Just maybe, I'll watch #3.

I mean, I should give it a second chance, right?

Can't waiiiit~~ Even though people don't like Megan Fox, but I am glad she is in the third installment and I hope original cast is in it till they stop making the movies! I don't like it when they switch casts and I really think Shia and Megan's got chemistry ^^

Anyhow, definitely hope the plot won't be disappointing, I don't have that high expectations anyway, so I loved the 2nd one.

Acting experience? The characters are garbage anyway!

Revenge of the Fallen was a long, loud, eyesore, toy commercial. Don't disappoint me. Kill off Mikaela, as much as I dig Fox.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Transformers 3 director Michael Bay briefly spoke about the third installment at a discussion on sound in film:

So can we expect more thunderous sound in the third installment? Although the number of robots increased significantly from the first film for the second, the third film -- which will hit theaters in summer 2011, won't be as robot-heavy and there will be fewer explosions, a tight-lipped Bay said after the Q+A.

"There will be a nice crescendo ending," Bay said. "It gets much more into the robot character. The last time you kind of met a few of the robots; this time you're gonna get a much cooler landscape."

Transformers 3 hits theaters on July 1, 2011.

I'd love to go see it Wednesday when it comes out in public in the US, but because of my busy schedule, I won't be able to actually watch it until Sunday. And same as above, I watch it for the effects, CGI, and whatnot because I'm somewhat of an animation/film person myself. Also, I've been hearing good reviews from some people who saw it early, which is a +1 for me.
