김현주는 극중 충무로의 흥행 보증 수표이자 안방극장 시청률 제조기 정혜인을 제안 받았다. 서늘하게 아름다운 외모와 선명한 존재감, 타고난 재능·악바리 근성 등 배우로서는 모든 걸 다 가진 일생이 전성기인 여자다.

'선암여고 탐정단' '딴따라' 등을 만든 재미난 프로젝트가 제작하며 신예 한지완 작가가 대본을 쓴다.

'딴따라' 후속으로 오는 6월 방송된다.

Jin Goo offered leading role in upcoming drama 'Wanted'

Actor Jin Goo, who stole our hearts with his role as Seo Dae Young in 'Descendants of the Sun', has been offered a leading role in upcoming SBS drama 'Wanted'. 

On May 4, Jin Goo's label BH Entertainment stated, "Jin Goo has received offers for 'Wanted' as well as many other pieces, but nothing has been decided about any of them. In the case of 'Wanted', the filming date overlaps with Jin Goo's current film, so the likelihood may be low."

 

If Jin Goo accepts the role, he will be taking on the character of Cha Seung In, a detective at Gangnam's Police Station working with a top actress to search for her kidnapped son. 

 

'Wanted' will air this coming June, after current SBS drama 'Ddanddara'.

Many stars are being courted for SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Wanted,” and actors Jin Goo, Uhm Tae Woong, and Kim Hyun Joo are some of the ones considering taking roles.

Although some reports on May 4 stated that the three actors have confirmed their appearances in the drama, each of their agencies released statements denying it, saying it is true that they have been courted for the drama, but they haven’t confirmed their decision yet.

“Wanted” is a thriller drama about a famous actress whose son gets kidnapped and she is forced to do as she’s told by the kidnapper during a live reality TV show.

This drama is off to a risky start, especially since the follow-up drama for SBS’s “Entertainer,” titled “Deal,” has been cancelled and “Wanted” has unexpectedly filled its spot.

This drama has only six weeks until its expected air date and it’s understandable that the production team is aiming to quickly get everything ready by then. However, some are saying that rushing things is not respectable behavior towards the confirmed as well as unconfirmed actors.

백상예술대상의 꽃이라 불리는 '백상 퀸' TV 부문 여자 최우수 연기상 자리 싸움이 치열하다. 

내달 치러질 제52회 백상예술대상 TV 부문 여자 최우수상 후보들의 면면은 어느 해보다 화려하다. 1인 4역을 소화한 '애인있어요' 김현주부터 '그녀는 예뻤다'로 여배우의 아름다움을 내려놓고 사정없이 망가진 황정음까지. 모두가 쟁쟁하다. '태양의 후예'로 인기를 재입증한 송혜교와 '시그널'에서 남자 배우들 사이 묵직한 울림을 안긴 김혜수도 만만치 않다. 결코 쉽지 않은 '백상 퀸' 타이틀. 누구의 자리가 될 것인지 다섯명 후보들의 1년 활동을 훑어봤다.

▶김현주 (SBS '애인있어요') 

표면적으로는 1인 2역이지만 사실상 1인 4역이나 다름없다. 기존의 두 캐릭터를 소화한 뒤 사고가 난 후 달라진 두 역할을 맡았으니 4역을 연기한 셈이다. 세련되고 차가운 이미지와 촌스럽지만 푸근한 인상까지 넘나든 연기 폭은 넓었다. 김현주의 '미친'듯한 압도적인 연기력은 어떤 캐릭터와 상황에도 완벽하게 녹아 들었다. 지진희는 그런 김현주를 보며 "1인 4역을 거부감 없이 소화할 수 있는 배우는 국내에서 손꼽힌다. 그 중 한명이 김현주다"고 말했다. 본인의 연기 외에도 다른 배우들을 이끌고 가는 힘까지 긴 50회 호흡도 거뜬했다. 연기와 집중력, 체력까지 완벽한 조화였다. 지난해 강력한 SBS '연기대상' 대상 후보로 거론됐짐나 안타깝게 트로피를 품진 못 했다. 

김혜수 (tvN '시그널') 

데뷔 후 첫 케이블 드라마 출연은 쉽지 않은 결정이다. 그럼에도 김혜수가 '시그널'을 택한 단 하나의 이유는 대본이다. 대본에 대한 믿음이 엄청났고 그 믿음은 자연스러운 연기력으로 갚았다. 극 설정상 15년 전 풋풋한 신참형사부터 장기미제전담팀을 이끄는 베테랑 형사까지 '세월을 연기했다'는 말이 딱이다. 납치 사건 피해자가 돼 극한의 공포를 소름 끼치게 연기하면서 시청자들을 소름끼치게 만들었다. 또 조진웅에게 고백하며 오열하는 장면은 애틋함 이상의 감동을 안겼다. 무게감 있는 조진웅과 호흡도 '척척'이었다. 아역부터 시작해 '연기력 논란'이라는 말과는 거리가 멀었던 인물인만큼 이번에도 본인의 특기를 맘껏 발휘했다. 눈빛 하나 동작 하나로 브라운관을 압도했다

라미란 (tvN '응답하라 1988') 

지난해 '치타여사' 라미란의 연기는 대한민국 안방극장을 웃기고 또 울렸다. 세상 어디에도 없는 애드리브는 '빵' 터지게 만들고 '엄마가 미안해'라며 아들 류준열을 붙잡고 우는 신은 모두의 눈시울을 붉혔다. '응답하라 1988' 속 쌍문동 3인방(이일화·라미란·김선영)이 있지만 가장 화제를 모은 캐릭터는 라미란이다. 한없이 웃기다가도 알파벳을 읽지 못 하는 '까막눈' 에피소드나 큰 아들 안재홍의 심장 수술을 앞두고 남몰래 눈물을 훔치는 장면은 눈물샘을 자극했다. 남편과 두 아들을 장악하는 카리스마, 야한 농담도 서슴지 않으며 때로는 수줍어하는 여성성까지. 드라마의 캐릭터는 온전히 라미란 실제와 닮았다. 생애 첫 최우수 연기상 후보다. 내친김에 상까지 받는다면 그야말로 쌍문동 경사다.

송혜교 (KBS 2TV '태양의 후예') 

멜로는 송혜교라는 공식에 쐐기를 박았다. 사랑에 빠진 러블리한 모습부터 의사로서의 사명감까지 다양한 내면을 엿봤다. 20년에 가까운 탄탄한 연기 내공과 캐릭터에 숨을 불어넣는 표현력 등 눈부신 매력으로 완벽하게 소화했다. 마찬가지로 송혜교가 울면 시청자도 울었고 밝게 미소 지으면 시청자도 활짝 웃었다. 출연한 드라마 중 '쪽박'을 찾기 힘들 정도로 안목이 뛰어난 것은 이미 증명된 사실. 어떤 캐릭터든 자신의 것으로 만들어내는 배우로 확실히 자리잡았다. 송혜교의 매력 중 빼놓을 수 없는 것 중 하나가 남자 배우와 케미스트리. 원빈·송승헌·조인성·현빈·정지훈 등에 이어 이번에는 송중기와 최고의 호흡을 자랑했다. 이 때문에 열애설 해프닝까지 벌어졌으니 얼마나 '환상의 커플'이었는지 알 수 있다.

 

황정음 (MBC '그녀는 예뻤다') 

'일취월장'이라는 말이 딱 어울리는 배우다. 시트콤서 만취한 연기를 보여준게 엊그제 같은데 지난해 '그녀는 예뻤다'로 대상 후보까지 거론됐다. 극중 불타버린듯한 머리칼과 안면홍조 등 망가진 김혜진으로 두 달을 살았다. 첫회 시청률이 4.8%였지만 황정음이 망가지면 망가질수록 무서운 뒷심을 발휘하며 최고 18%까지 찍었다. 드라마의 성공엔 타이틀롤인 황정음의 공이 컸다. 여배우라면 자칫 꺼릴 수 있는 캐릭터지만 그에게 '거부'란 없었다. 오히려 '더더더'를 외치며 최대한 우스꽝스럽게 변신하는데 맛들렸다. 살짝 과할 수 있지만 지극히 현실적인 선에서 연기하는 황정음이야말로 '생활형 연기의 정석'이다. 어느덧 황정음에게 '믿보황'(믿고 보는 황정음)이라는 수식어는 과분한게 아니다.

OMGI really want Kim Hyun Joo to accept the role in The Reality Show-Wanted. With this, i believe she would gain more fans since i believe it was a short 16 episodes drama. Short dramas attract more fans right?

its not confirmed if Kim Hyun Joo would accept this drama, I doubt if she would accept this role. Next month is June already, i dont think she would come back this soon. mostly she would take come time off to travel or to do charity works.

It's confirmed! KHJ will not appear in 'Wanted'. Well, perhaps a good thing since it's so rushy, just 5 more weeks to premiere. JG also cannot appear (I've read elsewhere that it's due to conflict with ongoing filming for a movie). But Uhm Tae Woong is confirmed.  

Hoping KHJ will come back soon. Not in a 16 or 20 ep drama. I want to see her again in another semi-long or long 30 to 50 eps drama

Though I've expected this since like what @LHRCN_ said, Kim Hyun Joo unnie usually takes some time off before taking a new project, I still feel sad that we still won't be seeing her act soon..

Thanks for the info @jadecloud! I'm sure there will be much better project for our favorite actress, like what you said, Wanted's production seems to be in a rush and accepting it may not be good as well. KHJ's projects though only once a year, you'll notice that it's well selected, specially the recent ones ('Twinkle,Twinkle','Dummy Mommy','Cruel Palace','What Happens to My Family','I Have a Lover'), different characters, different stories but all deep and beautifully portrayed.

I dont like thriller either, I prefer a romantic/comedy or a bloody war drama like Cruel Palace. I want to see her wearing hanbok again, i love seeing her in this dress. she looks very beautiful and classy.

Yeah its a bit rush that the production team has only 5/6 weeks still its premiere.
