@nonski  this really will be the first time  I will be watching an ongoing Kdrama. I was introduced to Korean dramas around March of 2018 and My Love From Another star was my second drama and the first time that I saw Hae Jin ssi. I liked him so much that I tried finding out more about him and the rest was history. The more I read, the more it became clear how wonderful a human being he is.

Anyway I stay away from ongoing dramas cuz i usually binge watch and I hate waiting for the next episode - at least I think I would hate it. But for uri Hae Jin ssi , I will endure.

The Tik-Tok clip has left me even more pumped for Forest. Can't wait for it to air.

And I will need your help with the link for watching each subbed episode. Thank you in advance. Lots of Luv.

@andie4u, I agree. It is so nice to follow PHJ, because he is not only a terrific actor, but a wonderful kind, generous human being.

Park Hae Jin And Jo Bo Ah’s Upcoming Drama Reveals Stills Of Their Peculiar First Meeting

Upcoming KBS 2TV drama “Forest” has revealed new stills of Park Hae Jin and Jo Bo Ah.

The drama is about a man who has everything but a heart, and a woman who has lost everything but her heart. It follows their love story after they meet in a mysterious forest and try to uncover the secret behind the forest and themselves.

Park Hae Jin plays Kang San Hyuk, an elite specialist at an investment firm who will do whatever it takes to achieve his life goal of obtaining 1 trillion won (approximately $863 million) in personal assets. Jo Bo Ah is a talented surgeon named Jung Young Jae, who is confident and assertive no matter the situation.

In the new stills, Kang San Hyuk and Jung Young Jae meet for the first time in a hospital cafeteria. Kang San Hyuk is wearing a suit jacket over his hospital clothing, and only one dress shoe. He’s holding Jung Young Jae’s coffee, and though Young Jae’s about to explain her life philosophy that nothing can be free, she is too dumbfounded by Kang San Hyuk to say much.

A source from the drama said, “Despite it being their first time working together, Park Hae Jin and Jo Bo Ah have brought to life scenes with incredible chemistry.”

“Forest” premieres January 29 at 10 p.m. KST.

Park Hae Jin Is A Charismatic Businessman With A Hidden Pain In Upcoming Drama “Forest”

Park Hae Jin Is A Charismatic Businessman With A Hidden Pain In Upcoming Drama “Forest”

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Forest” has revealed new stills of a charismatic Park Hae Jin.

Though Kang San Hyuk is a star in his field of business, he is not perfect. In crucial moments, he experiences a phantom pain of his arm burning. Because he hates to be seen by others as having a weak mind, he has ignored the pain he feels thus far, but one day, he meets surgeon Jung Young Jae (played by Jo Bo Ah) in a mysterious forest and comes to a turning point in his life.

In the new stills, Kang San Hyuk makes a grand entrance at a directors’ meeting and puts his business expertise on full display.

“Forest” premieres January 29.

Romance develops for Park Hae-jin, Jo Boa in new teaser for Forest

for12.jpg

A new video teaser has been released for KBS’s upcoming romance Forest, featuring its lead actors Park Hae-jin (Man to Man) and Jo Boa (My Strange Hero).

The story is described as a healing romance with Park Hae-jin playing Kang San-hyuk. He’s a man who seems to have it all, but he hides a painful past and suffered memory loss as a child. Due to circumstances that are not yet known, he finds himself forced to cohabitate with Jo Boa, who plays a surgeon named Jung Young-jae. She carries emotional baggage from her past as well and the two characters form a bond over their respective miseries. As they comfort and encourage one another, their relationship grows and they create in each other a safe space to breathe.

The newly released teaser highlights the drama’s title and setting – a mysterious forest which holds the key to unlocking the secrets in the characters’ pasts.

It starts with close-ups of Jo Boa and Park Hae-jin captioned by the words, “Fate has come, again.” In voice-over, Jo explains: “There’s a patient at the hospital that I keep thinking about. I think it’s sympathy as a fellow sufferer.” As she speaks, there is a sequence of shots showing Jo riding a bicycle, Park Hae-jin looking up at the sky, Park doubled over in pain and crying out, someone in a car underwater, and Jo distraught at the hospital. We see someone holding her and she cries, “Stop it, please just stop.”

Cut to Jo Boa leaning over Park Hae-jin when he suddenly embraces her and says, “There’s no one who dies because of you. You make people live.” As he speaks, we see Jo basking in the sunlight under the forest canopy and a wider shot reveals Park watching her. Jo confesses, “I started to become curious about Kang San-hyuk and everything about him.” As she speaks, we see another sequence of shots: Jo checking Park’s heartbeat, the two of them napping on chairs in the forest, the two riding bicycles together, and a charged moment when they lock hands while cleaning up a spilled drink. Curiously, the teaser ends with a shot of Jo Boa underwater.

Writing for the drama is Lee Sun-young and directing will be helmed by PD Oh Jong-rok (Twelve Men in a Year, Piano).

KBS’s upcoming Forest is currently set to premiere in just a few weeks, on January 29, and will be airing Wednesdays and Thursdays.
