Music High with DJ Jun has been around for so long, almost a year already isn't it? wahahaha!! I hope he earns a decent reputation of being a good DJ and not forgetting good money for working this "graveyard" albeit short shift.

Something interesting might happen in episode 10 because I have no idea why but

KeSPA, the e-sports governing body in Korea gives Hyung Jun a call at the end of episode 9.

They ask him to go visit them on Thursday. Since @play was filmed on Sunday the 21st, Thursday means tomorrow. I wonder what's going to happen... *suspense*

I loved the 2:2 team play parts, the Hyungjun/Shark team is awesome! Shark made his marines dance in the first game, hahaha...

A few years ago the proleague used to have a 2:2 competition as well, not just 1:1. Too bad they changed it, if not HJ/S combo would be a force to reckon with.

Hyung Jun Becomes a Progamer Episode 10

Today, the MSL (an individual league competition) selection ceremony took place. In fact it just ended. Lotsa LOLs mainly cos Bo Sung and Seok Hyun were very funny and talked a lot, go MBC!

Anyway, at the ceremony, the players are introduced and they walk up to the stage. Lee Je Dong (Jaedong, the defending champion of MSL) danced to U-Kiss' binggeul binggeul as he was introduced.

He did so because Hyung Jun asked him as a favour to do so. Earlier today (25th) morning, Hyung Jun, as part of the filming for Progamer visited the Hwaseung Oz hostel (Hwaseung is Lee Je Dong's team) and spoke to Lee Je Dong about this.

So I guess you can expect these scenes to be episode 10.

화승 오즈 이제동이 특별한 세리머니를 준비한 것으로 알려졌다.

이제동은 25일 서울 영등포구 문래동 룩스 히어로 센터에서 열리는 2010 MSL 시즌1 조지명식에서 지난 시즌 우승자 자격으로 출연한다. 이제동은 조지명식을 위해 입장할 때 특이한 세리머니를 펼칠 것으로 알려져 궁금증을 자아내고 있다.

이제동이 선택한 세리머니는 보이 그룹 유키스의 '빙글빙글' 음악에 맞춰 춤을 추는 것. 25일 오전 화승 오즈 숙소를 찾은 SS501의 김형준이 특별히 부탁한 것으로 전해졌다. MBC게임이 제작하는 버라이어티 프로그램인 'SS501 형준, 프로게이머 되다'의 촬영을 위해 화승 숙소를 방문한 김형준은 조지명식에서 세리머니 타임이 있다는 소식을 접한 뒤 이제동에게 특별히 부탁했다. 친동생 김기범이 속한 그룹인 유키스의 '빙글빙글'을 배경 음악으로 삼아 춤을 춰달라는 것.

이제동은 흔쾌히 김형준의 제안을 받아들였고 급하게 동영상을 다운 받아 춤 연습에 돌입했다. 화승 숙소에서 조지명식 현장까지 차량으로 이동하는 동안 이제동은 서서 춤을 연습하는 등 김형준과의 약속을 지키기 위해 노력했다고.

이제동은 "김형준 씨의 부탁을 받아 부랴부랴 연습했지만 얼마나 잘 될지는 장담할 수 없다"고 말했다.

이제동은 2009년 화승 팬들과 만나는 무대에서 테크토닉 춤을 선보이며 숨겨 둔 실력을 발휘한 바 있다.

Anyway, here's something funny that might be in episode 10 or might not...

At the MSL selection ceremony (which is basically when they decide how the 32 gamers who have qualified for MSL will be placed in which groups), Seok Hyun came made up as Daegil from Chuno (Slave Hunters), complete with scar and sword, just that he was in his uniform. He did what looked like a backflip and even swung his knife at his Sea and said some funny things to the gamers. Sea later revealed that the Daegil disguise and speech was his idea cos Chuno is so popular now so Seok Hyun would make a real impression if he did so (it's Hyun's first MSL). It ended up being a great idea cos Hyun won the MVP award for the ceremony and he and Bo Sung got lotsa interview airtime.

Tae Bak! lol Korean news is all over this story! Bo Sung is a genius.

The whole thing was very funny. He came out totally acting (at least trying to) like Daegil, swinging the sword and all. Then he got to the stage and Sea nearly fell backwards laughing his head off. Sea's comment was "Daegil looks cool in the show but when Seok Hyun hyung does it, it's funny".

Anyway, I have no idea why Hyung Jun went to the Hwaseung hostel today for filming. The e-Sports Association called him on Sunday to visit them so how did he end up there? And why is this in episode 10?

The Progamer PDs are cunning...

Congrats to Jak Dongi/young Dong Hyun cos he was placed on the 12-man team roster for the first time when the new Spring line-up was revealed on the 23rd! (only gamers on the roster get to sit on the bench during matches and play in the proleague) The Progamer writer is a fan of Dong Hyun and Shark. I found this pic on her cyworld:
