Moon Geun Young Says Block B’s P.O Is Her Ideal Type + P.O Responds

Moon Geun Young chose Block B’s P.O as her ideal type.

On MBC’s “Those Who Cross The Line,” the actress was asked about her ideal type, and she replied, “I don’t have anything like that, but I think a guy is handsome if he looks handsome in my eyes.” Yoo Byung Jae commented, “That’s what Lee Na Young said, but she married Won Bin.”

Moon Geun Young responded, “Then P.O. I think he has a nice smile, and he’s nice to people. I’ve only seen him on TV.” Then she sent him a video message, saying, “I will always support you.”

On March 18, when P.O appeared as a guest on “Hello Counselor,” Lee Young Ja mentioned that particular moment, and P.O became shy as he replied, “I actually saw that. I’ve never met her before. I was a fan of her ever since I was little. I’m grateful for her kind words.”

Both Moon Geun Young and P.O are in talks for tvN dramas, with the actress possibly joining “Catch

Yoo Ryung” (literal title) and the idol considering “Hotel del Luna.”

Moon Geun Young’s agency announced that the actress chose the drama as her comeback to the small screen. She will star with Kim Sun Ho, who is currently in Welcome to Waikiki 2.

Catch The Ghost is an investigative romance drama about a passionate subway police officer, portrayed by Moon, who happens to have a third eye. She relies on her supernatural abilities in her job. Kim will portray her supervisor who is more of a thinker and goes by the rules instead of supernatural abilities.

Moon started off in commercials before making her TV debut in 1999 via the drama Potato and On The Way. The timeless hit Autumn in My Heart paved the way for Moon’s popularity as she skyrocketed to success as the young Eun Seo.

She further cemented her wholesome image via the 2004 romantic comedy My Little Bride opposite handsome actor Kim Rae Won. In the movie, she portrayed high school student Seo Bo Eun who unexpectedly gets engaged to Park Sang Min to please their grandfathers.

Moon was also successful on the small screen. She starred in the 2010 dramaCinderella’s Stepsister and the 2012 drama Cheongdamdong Alice opposite Park Si Hoo. Perhaps one of her most memorable dramas was the 2010 Marry Me, Maryopposite both Jang Geun Suk and Kim Jae Wook.

Moon earned her nickname “Nation’s Little Sister” because of  her wholesome and sincere charm. Her fans sorely missed the actress since her last appearance in the 2015 drama The Village. The actress then took a hiatus due to her health.

Catch the Ghost will be released in the second half on 2019 on tvN.

[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Kim Seon-ho-I and Moon Geun-young Pair Up for "Catch the Ghost!"

I'm sensing a sugar-sweet OTP here, as actors Kim Seon-ho-I and Moon Geun-young have confirmed their leading roles in tvN's upcoming "Catch the Ghost!", a romantic investigation drama about a 'doer' rookie and a 'thinker' veteran of the subway police force.

If you're wondering why there's no fantasy genre attached, your answer lies in the heroine's name. Moon Geun-young ("Glass Garden", "The Village: Achiara's Secret") plays the titular Yoo Ryeong (which means ghost in Korean), the action-driven, rookie subway police investigator who can't tolerate injustice.

Kim Seon-ho-I ("Laughter in Waikiki 2", "Two Cops") plays Go Ji-seok, a former homicide detective who is currently in his 3rd year in the subway police service. Ji-seok will experience radical life changes when he meets the overzealous rookie. Given the title and the genre, I'm hoping the two bond while our 'doer' learns to pause and think, and our 'thinker' stops overthinking.

I had no idea that there was protection above security guards for subways, so the premise intrigues me past the romance as well. "Catch the Ghost!" will be penned by writers So Won and Lee Young-joo, and helmed by PD Sin Yoon-seob ("Please Come Back, Mister", "Ugly Alert", "The Rooftop Prince"). It will premiere in the second half of the year.

With the tenacity to find her twin who went missing on the subway, she achieves some sort of paranormal ability.

Kim Seon-ho plays Go Ji-seok, the chief of the police force. He graduated top of his class from the Police Academy, but has zero flexibility, as he is narrow minded and always very serious.
