これは、（たぶん）ドラマのタイトルなので、直訳じゃなくて、意訳した方がいいと思います。

「ニュースの女」　＝　主人公の女性　＝　報道番組のアンカーマン

新闻的妇女? I don't speak Chinese so I'm not a 100% sure if it's right but it means News Woman.

ニュースの女, literal translation is woman of News. But I dunno how to translate that literally into Chinese.

Like orangecake said it's the name of a drama series in Japan so it would not translate literally into Chinese. The chinese version of ニュースの女 is 新聞女郎

I thought it was Maki sushi, but that just means roll sushi, lol

I've seen 野菜すし【やさいすし】yasai sushi written before. However, I'm not sure if that's an official term. I'd probably say that, anyway.

As far as I know...in Japan, we call it "California Roll" in Sushi restaurant even it's not exactly from California haha.

The name カリフォルニアロール first introduced as one vegetarian roll with avocado and some other vegetables. We thought that is unique and after that even the ingredients are not the same, we call it "California roll" in general.

Haha interesting... my California Rolls (I think they have them back in California, haha) have artificial crab leg (in little bits mixed with Kewpie Mayonnaise キューピー！) salad, avocado, きゅうり (Japanese cucumber), and まさご (capelin roe). Occasionally, I mix it up a bit and add salmon in it (raw of course). I guess without the fish it's vegetarian... but the capelin roe is fish isn't it?

Well they substitute Capelin Roe with sesame seed in a vegetarian dish
