Dong Hyun Bae Explains Why He Was Disappointed After Meeting Taeyang’s Girlfriend Min Hyo Rin

Actor Dong Hyun Bae, the older brother of BIGBANG‘s Taeyang, appeared on the recent episode of “Radio Star” on March 2 and talked about his brother’s girlfriend, Min Hyo Rin.

During the show, the MCs tell Dong Hyun Bae, “We heard you were very disappointed after seeing Min Hyo Rin in real life.” He replies, “That’s not what I meant. I hope my brother doesn’t misunderstand.”

Park Bo Gum sends the sweetest text message to Min Hyorin, Ra Mi Ran, and Hong Jin Kyung

On March 25, model Hong Jin Kyung posted a screenshot of a text message she received from our favorite boy-next-door actor, Park Bo Gum! 

During the particular incident, it seems that Hong Jin Kyung, Ra Mi Ran, and Min Hyo Rin ran into Park Bo Gum in the KBS building! Park Bo Gum was attending filming for 'Music Bank', while the ladies were present for their new variety show 'Unnie's Slam Dunk'. 

Hong Jin Kyung has since shared the above photo of them together along with the text message she received from the actor afterwards! Park Bo Gum wrote her, "Sun Bae Nim! Min Hyo Rin reveals the doubts she had about her new variety program

We all doubt ourselves every once in a while, and it seems the gorgeous actress Min Hyo Rin is no exception. During the April 6 press conference for her new KBS 2TV variety program 'Unnies' Slam Dunk-Grown Ups' Future Dreams,' Min Hyo Rin confessed that initially, she wasn't sure about joining the show. 

The actress began, "It bothers me that I'm not successful yet. Everyone save for me is doing well. I really didn't know that I'd be doing a variety program and that I'd be joining [the program] as a permanent cast member." 

Min Hyo Rin then spilled, "I went to tell the director that I don't think that I'll be able to [join the show] but the director told me that the variety's concept is about achieving one's dreams. After hearing that, I wanted to do the program. I myself have dreams that didn't come to fruition because I debuted so early. I really like the concept of fulfilling our dreams by helping one another out. When I read comments, they say, 'Is there even anything you can do?' I think I'll show them a whole another side of me. Please look forward to it."

Big Bang's Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin have been spotted together holding hands on a lovely spring day!

On April 7, Dispatch revealed photos of the celebrity couple on a not-so-scret date. Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin can be seen casually walking around the streets of Hannam-dong, Seoul. The two stars are dressed in comfy casual wear with masks to cover their faces.

According to the reporter, they had sweet conversations with each other and spent quality time. Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin officially confirmed that they were dating back in 2015.

On the April 8 airing of KBS 2TV's variety show, 'Unnies' Slam Dunk,' the topic of Min Hyo Rin's boyfriend, Taeyang, was brought up.

On this day, Cha Tae Hyun said, "It's funny that a JYP is dating a YG."  Defconn said to Min Hyo Rin, "Your agency is JYP but your boyfriend's is YG. Are you guys like Romeo and Juliet?"  

She replied with a shy smile, "That kind of meeting does not happen within the agency."  Have you ever heard of SM Entertainment?  She continued, "[Taeyang] keeps not letting me listen to his new songs.  In the past, he would ask me how it is."

Min Hyo Rin wants to send a message to Song Joong Ki

Min Hyo Rin aired a grievance during her interview session on KBS 2TV's new variety program, 'Unnies' Slam Dunk,' on April 8 in regards to her friend Song Joong Ki.  The panel brought up the fact that they got close after filming a drama together and lots of her interviews mentioning him would come up in news reports.

Regarding this, she protested, "I've never brought him up first.  Right when I went into an interview, they brought up how I acted in drama 'Triple' with Song Joong Ki and asked how is his real personality, so I said he was a good listener and he's manly.  Only reports about that went out, so from Song Joong Ki's point of view, he might think I just keep talking about him."

Defconn kindly said they would edit this part out, then, but she protested, saying on the contrary, "Why?  No, this has to go out Song Joong Ki knows," in hopes of untangling any possible misunderstanding, causing laughter.

She's cute!  You get the message, Song Joong Ki?  Although he probably never thought such a thing in the first place!

Min Hyo Rin Clarifies Previous Comments About Song Joong Ki

Min Hyo Rin wants to set things straight, and make sure there isn’t a misunderstanding with Song Joong Ki.

On April 8, the first episode of KBS2‘s “Unni’s Slam Dunk” showed the members receiving advice from “2 Days & 1 Night” members, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Jong Min, and Defconn.

During Min Hyo Rin’s turn, Cha Tae Hyun asks, “Didn’t you once appear on ‘Running Man?’” She confirms it, saying, “At the time, Lee Jong Suk was to my left, and Kim Woo Bin was to my right. This was when they just started becoming known as ‘rising stars.’ Also, in the past, I worked with Song Joong Ki in ‘Triple,’ which was one of his first productions.” The caption says, “King Maker Min Hyo Rin?,” suggesting she’s a lucky charm for her co-stars.

She also explains about mentioning Song Joong Ki in interviews. Min Hyo Rin says, “I’ve never brought up Song Joong Ki on my own. When I go to an interview, they ask me first, ‘Oh you worked together with Song Joong Ki before. What is his personality like?’ So, I answer that he is a good listener, and is manly, but then my answer is used as the main topic of articles.” She expresses her worry that he will wonder why she keeps bringing him up.

The other three people in the room joke that they will edit this portion out then, since she’s talking about him again. However, Min Hyo Rin is taken aback and firmly says that “this specific part has to be aired so that Song Joong Ki knows that I wasn’t the one that brought him up,” making the rest of them laugh.

“Unni’s Slam Dunk” is a new variety show that gives its cast members a chance to live out dreams they had to cast aside when they were younger.

It looks like Min Hyo Rin took J.Y. Park's advice to just be herself on variety--the girl is a natural! 

On the latest broadcast of 'Unnies' Slam Dunk,' Min Hyo Rin couldn't stop yapping, and Hong Jin Kyung, who was stuck with Min Hyo Rin in a car ride, asker her incredulously, "Aren't you tired [of talking]? What does Taeyang think of you [talking so much]?" Min Hyo Rin only responded with lighthearted laughter and continued chattering away. 

Min Hyo Rin proved that she's not only a great talker but also a great dancer. She wasn't afraid to take center stage and let loose! Once the other members saw her dancing, they immediately joined her, transforming the set into one giant party.

I can just picture J.Y. Park nodding his head in approval.
