Therefore this is a con wedding, so Bro Fei, please remember to give us a big red packet!” When the media tried to make Jerry and Ella kissed on the spot, Jerry tactfully and wittily replied, “I shall invite Bro Fei to give Ella a kiss!” When Jerry got chatty on the show, Zhang Fei shared that “he (Jerry) is not as difficult to interview as imagined!” On the day of recording, Ella and Jerry arrived dressed in checkered outfits, though they did not make prior arrangement to do so. Ella was even wearing a pair of feminine-looking high heels. She explained, “I’m not used to dressing up so femininely, but for the sake of not letting Jerry feel that he is going to wed a boy, I’ve decided to come in high heels.” Meanwhile Jerry praised Ella is very sexy and her alluring figure would make him feel shy.

This is the first time Jerry is recording for Bro Fei’s show to promote his drama, and Bro Fei pretended to mind and said, “My show has been waiting for you since 7, 8 years ago. You should have popped by during [The Hospital]!” Jerry then added, “I am very angry myself too!” When asked by the media on his rumours with Lin Chiling and if he has watched movies recently, Jerry replied, “Actually the movie is quite nice.” Undeterred, the media continued to press him for an answer, “Who would you choose between Ella and Lin Chiling then!” Hearing this, Ella immediately responded, “Hey, is this question meant to make me look bad!” Hearing this, Jerry said comically, “Then let me help you smash their microphones!” With their quick-witted exchanges, Jerry and Ella successfully overcome the sensitive topic.

While filming, Zhang Fei told Jerry out-rightly, “This is the first time, as a host, I’ve been restricted to ask certain questions. I feel so miserable.” Jerry quickly replied, “Bro Fei should be able to ask anything because Bro Fei is a real man!” Hearing this, Bro Fei immediately asked the crew members to prepare questions related to rumoured romances and Jerry said funnily, “Thus, the next segment is reserved for Ella.” Subsequently he pretended to walk away, but Ella held onto him firmly, making the whole scene totally hilariously. When playing the “Kou Shi Xin Fei” (lit transl: Saying one thing, but meaning another) game, Zhang Fei asked Ella if she is the one with the most rumoured romances in S.H.E. In response, Ella denied and Jerry helped her by adding, “This only goes to show how attractive she is! For instance, I am not even in the line to be rumoured with her.” Next, Zhang Fei went a step further to list down Ella’s rumoured boyfriends, and Ella immediately seized the hand-card away from him to stop him from talking. When the topic turned to Jerry, Bro Fei asked Ella, “Is Jerry unhappy to be asked questions concerning Lin Chiling?” Ella replied, “Yes!” Upon hearing this, Jerry joked again, “She once told me she likes hairy men (refers to Bro Fei).” Upon hearing this, Bro Fei was overjoyed. When Jerry got chatty, even Zhang Fei has to admit, “He is not how we perceived him to be, someone who barely talks! Interviewing him is not difficult, and he is actually quite eloquent.”

During the programme, Jerry’s car for 20 years also became a discussion topic. Jerry said, “During the post-filming celebration dinner, Xiao Xiao Bin actually ran up to me and asked why I am still driving the old car.” He shared that this car was purchased with his earnings from the early days of modeling and has many endearing memories. He could not bear to change it and also would not feel as much heartache if it was knocked into. “There was once my car was bumped by another person. But I dare not alight as I was worried I might be recognized!” Meanwhile Zhang Fei shared that he has driven the same car for 14 years and could empathize with his feelings. Then both of them joked that they could exchange their cars with each other.

When playing the psychological games, Jerry and Ella played “Hei Bai Pei”. For the first time, both of them chose the left direction. To this, the psychologist Gao Zu Ning explained that both of them are like little rabbits in their hearts and would be child-like before the ones they love. Next when they played “Bang Da Lao Hu Ji Chi Chong” (lit transl: Club hitting Tiger, Chicken eating Worm), a game to gauge the probability of who might get married in a flash or in haste. Jerry chose “Club” and “Worm”. This was interpreted as he would probably not get married in haste, but with a possibility of doing so because of his loved one. When asked about this, Jerry revealed that he has never given thought to it in the past, but nothing is impossible now. On the other hand, Ella chose “Club” and “Chicken”, which was interpreted as a high probability of getting married in a flash, and with a “subconscious sadistic” trait.

The ballroom was filled with the wedding photos and thank-you cards of Jerry and Ella, wedding cookies and customized wedding flavours chocolates for the guests. The fans also specially prepared big red pillows and other betrothal gifts for the “newly weds”.

Not only has the ballroom resembled that of a real wedding party, even the entry of the couple mimicked that of a pair of newly weds. Leading the way, the starlets of [DWL] – Xiao Xiao Bin and Ji Xin Lin were the page boy and flower girl, with Xiao Xian, Michael Zhang and Zhou Xiao Han, Yan Yi En taking on the roles of best men and bridesmaids, following closely behind. Xiao Xian’s black pants suit flaunted her well-endowed figure to attract everyone’s attention.

Subsequently Jerry entered the ballroom alone, looking very suave in his white shirt and grey pants. On the other hand, Ella, was hand-held by Gu Bao Ming, who was acting as her father in [DWL], as they walked into the ballroom and on the red carpet. In her off-white gown which revealed her beautiful shoulders, Ella looked exceptionally sexy, drawing non-stop flash from the camera lights.

Next, Jerry and Ella had the ring exchange ceremony. As both celebrities have no real wedding experiences, when Jerry was about to put on the ring for Ella, it was evident from their facial expressions that they were nervous. Following that, the couple wrote down their screen-names, and not real names, on the marriage certificate.

Ella shared that she has specially made enquiries, prior to the press conference, as she was worried that there might be potential accountability issues which may arise from both of them having a “wedding” in public, with more than 3 witnesses. Meanwhile Jerry said, it was the first time a press conference was in the form of a wedding, and he felt as if everything was like a dream.

When asked if real romance could spark between them, Ella replied, as she was very into her role, she felt like she has grown to like Jerry more and more. Her “confession” in public made Jerry felt very shy, and he responded, praising Ella as a very good girl, and any guys who watched [DWL], will definitely fall for her.

Footage of the wedding ceremony during the press conference will be telecasted on 24 Jan, 11 pm via CTV, and the actual serial will be aired on 31 Jan 2010, 10 pm on CTV. It will be shown on GTV on 7 Feb, 8 pm also.

Thank you so much for posting the translations, news and videos of Jerry & Ella. I'm really shocked to see that Jerry is so friendly with Ella, especially at events and interviews. The Jerry w/ Ella is really different from the Jerry I see in other dramas. I just watched Hot Shot w/ Jerry and he didn't seem all that friendly w/ the cast, but w/ Ella he is SUPER friendly and even jokes around. Glad to see this side of Jerry.

The drama looks silly, not sure yet if it's in a good way or bad way. Either way, I'm excited to watch the chemistry between Jerry and Ella.

Since we 'd seen so much of BTS so the first episode is just a warm up .

But defenitely Yang Duo and Yang Guo ( Xian Xian and Ella ) are so closed with each other as if they are real sister . The scene of Eating Sushi contest is so hilarious as Yang Guo had to followed Yang Duo instruction in order not to be number one so they could get the rice cooker , but as luck would have it , Yang Guo became the first winner unwantedly . I like the chemistry between the two as it is so natural .

Ditto for Yan Ling and Yang Guo ( Amanda and Ella ) with their friendship bonding is so strong . Their lesbian kiss was so funny .

I wish that they did not have to show all in the BTS because I 'd re-watched them so many times so now I wanted more .

Still , it is so fun to see how Yu Ping and Yang Guo rubbed wrong sides on each other .

What a shame that we have to wait for one week .

As next week in the preview , Yang Guo ends up in bed with Yu Ping and his girlfriend caught them in the morning . It is a long wait indeed .

At first I was like 'urgh Ella and Jerry???" Don't get me wrong. I love Ella and i love Jerry, but I just thought that an Ella Jerry pairing was a bit weird...I guess their ages aren't actually all that different but seriously, ella just looks like a little kid compared to jerry.

I watched the first 30 minutes the other day but I found it pretty cute. Not much interaction has happened yet but I can really start to see Ella together with Jerry. But then again, I'm still waiting for the drama to suprise me and make me say "Jerry and Ella is such a cuute pairiing!"

On another note, I found the sister to be reallly really interesting to watch hahaha~ Her character is just so lovable and funny!

Haha well yeah I have high expectations for the many episodes to follow
