Poster Design

So, I'm making a poster for my club. I was wondering how this looks, and if it makes sense.

My design intent was that I took the shape of the ying-yang symbol the S. Then added Japanese things around it. The dots above represens stars, and the ring thing is suppose to be the moon/earth.

I was wondering what program should I color this in? Also, what program draws curves like that? Also, I'm not really good at drawing... as shown. I was wondering if someone could recreate the main shape for me?

I suggest you use Adobe Illustrator. If you want i can recreate the form for you. Is it okay if i recreate the main form in black? I think it would be good if you give me your msn adress.
