Hi gals, am back! Have a really bad cold that I think I got as a result of my utter failure to sipsiow this man for 4 looong days, agghhh, talk about hell on earth!

Azura, Inez maman, Audrey, and the rest of the jdg sweeties, so sorry will not be able to join y'all this wednesday, did try my best but still a no go! Being the lowest mammal in the hierarchy, it was too much really to hope that my seniors would let me go on leave a few days, not even as I look and feel heartsick! Anyway, as long as there's life, there would always be a ray of hope for me and this man, even barring the likes of ruff and TY! He came Saigon 4 years ago on the Close-up event (u know that toothpaste huh) after his storming over Saigon his dramas... He stayed there 3 days. In the public apprearance he presented an English song "You re my everything" (think he sang it for me ) n 1 Viet pop song "Trai tim khong ngu yen" (me translated "A sleepless heart" ). His Viet language pronouced acceptable bcz him dun haf enuf time to practise)... Thousands of ajummah n ajushi rushed in the theatre so hot that it was nearly burnt out (like the case of Inez's siggy ). Me had a priority to enter the behind scene of theatre.. standing near him... Errh me think i haf said about it manytimes in this thread oredi.. ... Tsk tsk

Anyway, sg gals and all our other chingus who will be in sg this wed., have fun and give us the lowdown re: ur face to face (and other anatomical parts) encounter with this man, and of course the pics to go with it! I don't think I was ever this excited about meeting somebody, and in this case am even only doing it vicariously, ie. via the babes in this thread! I was loco for a while over jerry yan 2 years ago when meteor garden was shown in my place, and moved heaven and earth to see him in person...I did see him in the flesh and at that time I felt delirious about the experience, but that lasted only a month or so...and now seeing his face gracing the covers of mags no longer excite me, and his 2006 calendar at Kinokuniya only merited a furtive glance...but I don't think that's going to be the case with this man(dong gun of course, silly), not when I harbor thoughts of forever with him, including a ring and the all-important nuptials (sorry ruff)! And even as I feel a mere spectator in all this, I am enjoying the ride with all u gals!

SINGAPOREAN members of South Korean hunk Jang Dong Gun's official international fan club, Adonis, have been busy planning his airport welcome this Wednesday.

Dong Gun (above in a scene from his new film The Promise) will be here on a 20-hour whirlwind visit to plug his movie.

He's the last of Korea's Four Heavenly Kings - which include Bae Yong Joon, Lee Byung Hun and Won Bin - to visit Singapore.

Miss Kim Ang, spokesman for Encore Films, which is distributing The Promise, said that Dong Gun, who is flying in from Hong Kong, will be greeted at the airport by a fleet of five cars - a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Lotus Elise and three Alfa Romeos.

'He's such a big star, so we wanted to have a grand welcome like never before,' she said.

Dong Gun, 33, will be chauffeured in an Alfa Romeo GT. The other Heavenly Kings rode in Mercedes Benz cars during their respective visits.

Accompanied by an entourage of eight, including two managers and a hair and makeup artist, the star will hold a press conference, make a mall appearance and attend the gala premiere of the film.

He will also be the first of the four Korean Heavenly Kings to sign autographs for fans in public.

Encore has employed four bodyguards and other security personnel to escort Dong Gun throughout his trip here.

Surprisingly, he and his managers have not made any special requests, like for his favourite kimchi.

Miss Ang said: 'They're very easy-going, and have accomodated all our requests, even though his schedule is so tight he has to work till after 10pm.'

To commemorate his visit, Encore has printed a special SingPost stamp set bearing the faces of the cast of The Promise. Only 100 sets are available as contest giveaways.

Meanwhile, one of his fans, Miss Jennifer Chan, 39, has prepared her own memento for her idol - a cross-stitch piece of his handsome face.

The administrative manager said she spent more than three months on the handicraft which she's mounted on a photo album.

'He can afford to buy anything he wants, so I'd rather make something special for him. It comes from my heart, and it carries my good wishes,' said Miss Chen.
