also does anyone know if the Thailand concert is still selling tickets or if its SOLD OUT already???

So the girls are traveling to US in the end of January, then heading over to Thaliand in the end of February, and then to America for the three concerts with JYP and then back to Korean in the end of March for their first official Korean concert with Korean WonderFuls, right? And they'll let out a 2nd album thereafter. Yay. Let's just wait a few months more. It was easier last year since they had MTV Wonder Girls Season 3 but this time .. I hear nothing ..

but i didn't know that they opened a new one so i got upset for a little while!

it's good to hear that Wonderfuls are very much alive!!

even though the girls are MIA.

speaking of MIA,i get so saaad whenever i see previous vids of them,

coz i won't be able to see them performing for the next couple of months or so.

woah... with the so called 'break' happening for the girls at the moment... they sure are doing lots of activities....

all the concerts n what not need lots of preparations and time consuming ones too... so the girls sure aint having any breaks... maybe juz less hectic in terms of activities than before....

whatever it is... i hope the girls can get some time off to rest n recharge.... so they can go thru 2009 better than ever..

Yay for the 2nd thread!!! Though I agree with the others that the title of the thread atm

isn't great. I'd rather have JYP's WONDER GIRLS (원더걸스) OFFICIAL THREAD 2 . Witness the wonder

coz since the old thread, I've always looked for the 'JYP' part and it made it easier to

spot their thread.

Anyways, it sucks that the remix album was just a rumor. I was totally

excited when I heard it but now I'm just angry (just a bit lol). Got everyone's

hopes up. Grrr~~. But yeah, I can't wait for their concert and of course

their comeback later this year ^-^

인기그룹 원더걸스가 해외 콘서트를 통해 월드스타로 발돋움한다.

원더걸스는 2월 28일 태국 방콕을 시작으로 3월 5일 미국 LA(윌튼 시어터), 6일 오렌지카운티(라미라다 시어터), 8일 뉴욕(맨하튼센터 해머슈타인 볼륨) 공연을 확정지었다.

이후 3월28일에는 국내(올림픽공원 펜싱경기장)에서 데뷔 후 첫 단독 콘서트를 연다.

원 더걸스의 소속사 관계자는 "미국에서의 잇단 공연에 멤버들이 의욕을 보이고 있다. 지난해 박진영, 임정희 등 소속사 가수들이 함께 한 'THE JYP투어' 때 미국 무대를 경험한 적이 있지만, 이번엔 자신들이 당당한 주인공이기에 더 많은 걸 보여줄 계획"이라고 밝혔다.

또한 "JYP 코리아와 JYP USA가 순발력 있게 해외 홍보 활동을 진행하고 있는 결과들이 가시화되고 있다. 원더걸스가 세계 시장에서 활약하는 구체적인 플랜이 가동되고 있다"고 전했다.

원더걸스는 유튜브 등을 통해 뮤직비디오 등 영상을 집중적으로 홍보해 수백만 건 이상의 조회수를 기록했으며, 미국 내 공연을 통해 업계 관계자들로부터 호평을 이끌어내며 미국 진출의 초석을 다져왔다.

이에 힘입어 지난해 4월 미국 서부의 정론지인 샌프란시스코 크로니클로부터 '아시아 가수들의 계속된 미국 진출 시도 실패를 끊어낼 유망주'로 소개되기도 했다.

원더걸스 관계자는 "미국 외에도 중국, 대만 등 다른 아시아 국가에서도 공연에 대한 요청이 쇄도하고 있다"며 "현재 이를 검토 중이며, 해외 투어 모두 규모가 확대될 것"이라고 귀띔했다.

I mean that's good and all but yeah *looks at BoA* Don't get me wrong though, Watching Wonder Girls MTV and Wonder Bakery and other more videos of wonder girls made me feel all warm and fuzzy, and it really feels like they are not faking it and such.

Yeah, they have an upcoming concert in Korea.

It was originally on Valentine's Day, but it got pushed back (so they can do better preparations).

Here are their upcoming concerts:

Thailand; February 28th

LA; March 5th

OC; March 6th

NYC; March 8th

Seoul; March 28th

The one's in America are the tours with JYP.

The one's in Asia are the solo concerts.
