Some Chengdu WFs posted at Baidu that there will be a live telecast of Polar Ocean World Opening Night event on their local TV station.

They also said they have seen WG ad promos on local TV just now.

The broadcast channel is Chengdu TV Public Channel, or CDTV-5.

They also link to the station's webcast, without guaranteeing it will air online: http://www.cdtv.cn/c...webcast/CDTV-5/

(The site contains hosted videos, in any case. The webcast also requires a pre-downloaded VOD plugin, which I haven't try.)

No timing mentioned, but I read elsewhere the event is from 8:30pm~10pm (GMT +8).

WG did take the Asiana flight.

They landed 10:20pm local time (50 min  ahead of schedule!) & were then stylishly picked up by a Lincoln limo (the super-stretch type).

Skipping the rest of the rambling fan account to wait for fanpics & fanvids instead.

WG is in Chengdu (capital city of Sichuan province, in central China).

After their Malaysian/Singapore concerts, they will also go to Changsha (capital city of Hunan province, in central China); Beijing (the national capital, in northeast China); & finally Inner Mongolia (likely the regional capital city Ulaanbaatar, in northern China).

They will also go to Taipei (northern Taiwan) & Kaohsiung (southern Taiwan) later in August.

WG's travel itinerary for the next month:

July 27~29: Chengdu, Sichuan (China) - Polar Ocean World opening-night event

July 31: Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) - MTV World Stage concert

Aug 3: Singapore - SINGfest concert

Aug 7~8: Changsha, Hunan (China) - filming for Hunan TV's 'Happy Camp' show

Aug 9: Beijing (China) - press conference & autograph session

Aug 10~12: Inner Mongolia (China) - Naadam Festival 2010 opening event

Aug 21: Taipei (Taiwan) - MUSIF 2010 concert

Aug 22: Kaohsiung (Taiwan) - MUSIF 2010 concert

Does anyone knows when their flight to malaysia is for the MTV World Stage?

I would love to greet them at the airport and my brother is a big Wonderful and excited to join me~

I think they will arrive at KLIA airport on July 30 at the earliest.

Both their & Chengdu's websites lack advanced flight info. But from what I can tell, there is only one arrival flight at KL each day & the next 2 will land at 4:35am in the morning.

To catch the July 29 flight, WG must rush immediately to the Chengdu airport after their performance, which seems unlikely. Their itinerary lists them in Chengdu for July 29 anyway.

from Baidu Wondergirls Paste Bar

At 3pm on August 9, WONDERGIRLS will hold an autograph session at Beijing Xindan Joy City Mall.

All participating fans must arrive by 2:30pm.

On the day, the organizer will invite Wonderfuls onstage to interact with WONDERGIRLS.

The following are the event details (provided by Universal Music):

There are 20 VIP passes. These 20 persons will get inside access to WG. The other fans can only stand outside the barricades. This event is in collaboration with Youku [one of China's 2 biggest Youtube clones]. VIP passes for the August 9 event can be won through Youku's interactive links. For now, specific program details are not out yet.

A prerequisite is that the chosen 20 must guarantee their attendance on the day. Among them, 2 fans can go onstage for the WG gift-presentation segment. One of the two will be allowed to make a statement.

The VIP fans will get the following privileges: only they have inside access to the event, with the other fans watching from behind the barricades; a selected duo can personally present gifts to WG onstage; WG will inscribe these fans' names during the autograph session (please bring their own CDs).

Please note that the August 9 event is an autograph session. Thus, WONDERGIRLS will perform only 2 songs. All WFs who show up can get autographs. The 20 VIPs may request to have their names inscribed. WG will sign only CD albums, so please go purchase only original copies.

Youku's activities have not been announced.

JYPE China is looking for 5 temps to help out Wonder Girls Hunan TV event on Aug 7~8.

They also have a separate contest (TV-studio tickets as top prizes) which mention August 8 as the date of the Hunan TV 'Happy Camp' filming.
