Lee Byung Hun And Lee Min Jung Purchase Home In Los Angeles

Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung have purchased a house in the United States.

 

On May 22, industry representatives reported, “Married couple Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung purchased a house around Universal Studios, a tourist attraction in Los Angeles. It is a size suitable for a family of five to six, and it costs about $2 million.”

 

In response to the reports, Lee Byung Hun’s agency BH Entertainment commented, “Lee Byung Hun promotes in Hollywood just as much as he promotes in Korea and needed a place to live in America. That is why he recently bought a home there.”

 

After making his Hollywood debut in 2009 with the film “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” Lee Byung Hun has since starred in films including “G.I. Joe: Retaliation,” “RED 2,” and “Terminator Genisys.”

 

In regards to his upcoming activities in the United States, Lee Byung Hun’s company stated, “We are continuously reviewing scenarios and scripts. However, no film appearances have been decided yet.”

 

Lee Byung Hun’s upcoming Korean film “Chiefs of Namsan” (literal title) is scheduled to premiere this year.

Just watched #BungeeJumpingOftheirOwn by #LeeByungHun (I miss him). I really appreciate LBH's choice of movies&drama which dealt not only on love stories but a hidden underlying message like this. To all having #MrSunshine hangover i suggest you watch this. Highly recommended

Just finished watching #HarmoniumInMyMemory story is fresh & simple #JeonDoYeon & #LeeByungHun were very cute even they were at late 20s when this was shot. It will remind u of your teacher crush. Highly recommended. 

 

Good story though unrealistic. It is also the reunion of #JeonDoYeon and LBH. Liked the angst of KGE's role but LBH & JDY brought the drama to higher level. Their chemistry is really good. Must watch for sunshiners.

The Korean Business Research Institute has announced this month’s brand reputation rankings for male advertisement models!

 

The rankings were determined through an analysis of consumer behavior, using big data collected from April 23 to May 24. The Korean Business Research Institute evaluated the participation, communication, media, and social values of 50 male advertisement models in order to calculate each star’s total brand reputation index for May.

Lee Min Jung Joins Shinhwa’s Andy And Eric On Upcoming Variety Show Filmed In Spain

Lee Min Jung will be a fixed member of a variety show for the first time!

 

On May 24, it was reported that the actress would be appearing on MBC every1’s new variety show “The Barber of Seville.” A source from MBC every1 then confirmed that she would be joining the show as a fixed member. Though she has previously appeared as a guest on variety shows, this will be her first time as a fixed member of a variety show.

 

Filmed in Spain, the variety show borrows its underlying motif from the opera of the same name. Alongside a barber with over 53 years of experience as well as top hair designers in Korea, a celebrity crew takes on a hair salon in Spain, showing what happens when East meets West. Shinhwa’s Andy and Eric have also been confirmed to appear on the show.

 

“The Barber of Seville” is slated to air in July.

Members of the Lee Byung Hun Chinese Fan Club visiting at the "Baekdusan" film site

 

We visited the filming site of « Baekdusan » which is a two hour drive from Seoul.  When we arrive, the coffee truck was there preparing to serve drinks and fresh fruits.

 

 

 

 

 

Due to budget limitations, the coffee truck only served drinks and fruits.

 

 

Byung Hun - ssi used his lunch break to receive us in his trailer because the sun was too hot.   He was the perfect host and made sure we were seated comfortably.  He immediately thank us for the coffee truck and the « Baekdusan » T shirt  we prepared for the entire crew.  This T shirt is very special because it was designed by Byung Hun-ssi himself.  He seemed to be very pleased and requested his managers to model the T shirts showing the shirt’s front and back.

He was happy to see us and was very friendly. We brought him some coffee beans and he said he loves all kinds of coffee.  We also brought him a bottle of single malt whiskey.  We noticed during his last visit to Hong Kong in December 2016,  his staff carried a huge bottle of single malt whiskey at the Hong Kong airport!

 

We congratulated him on the acquisition of a house in Los Angeles and asked if he intends to do more filming in Hollywood.   He said he is will consider opportunities to film in Hollywood.  However, his preference is to film in Korea.

 

We told him how we missed not being to watch him on television twice a week after « Mr. Sunshine ».  He admitted that he is fully aware that his fans wants to see him in TV dramas and he would think about it.

 

BH has excellent memory.  When he saw the photos provided by a

fan, hé recognized some fans immediately asked why they were not there.

 

Frankly, we were overwhelmed by his presence and friendliness and we almost forgot to request him to sign photos which he kindly did.   Although the visit was short, this warm memory will stay in our hearts forever.

Thanks so much Barbara, for this wonderful awesome sharing. I am so happy and glad that all of you met Byunghun personally, how cool is that! Good things come in good time.. finally!  It's obvious that BH was elated receiving the fans' treat, gifts and warm thoughts. That Baekdusan t-shirt is a fabulous gift, even more precious incorporated with Byunghun's idea. He doesn't wait long to share the pics and they're simply extra special with the models, too. 

 

It's no easy feat. planning to send a coffee/food truck to the filming set, especially for foreign fans. Congratulations to the China Fan Club, well done!
