Neutrogena Or Cetaphil?

Recommended Posts

Guest panda_lovex3

I never tried these products before so I'm wondering which one works better to get a clear face?

You can recommend any other products. I don't really have bad acne or anything.

I've used both Neutrogena and Cetaphil.

They both gave out pleasing results ! :D

But i prefer Cetaphil better.

Erm, I have the acne stress control one, except mine is the foaming version, instead of the scrub. And to be honest, it isn't too great. while it doesn't give me more pimple, it doesn't prevent or get rid of them either. = /

As for Cetaphil, I've heard many good reviews, and I have the moisturizer, which is really good. So if I were you, I'd go for Cetaphil.

omg thats so weird! i have both of those sitting in my bathroom right now.

well i used cetaphil first because my face was REALLY DRY,

but now that its healed, i use the neutrogena stress control :)

i've just started using it, and i love it!

and it smell reallllly good.

i still use the cetaphil face lotion though :)

if i were you, get the neutrogena stress control. ^^

it actually got rid of my pimples in, 2 days.

Both . . . the Cetaphil is more than gentle enough to use multiple times a day, and the Neutrogena can be used once or every other day to exfoliate/remove makeup and all that good stuff. :D

I'd been battling moderate acne for 3 years, and the Neutrogena Hydrating Acne Treatment was the only thing that cleared it up. I started using it recently and everything started clearing up in a day. My face = completely clear in a week!

most amazing stuff ever, I DEFINITELY reccomend. ^_^

Thanks for the replies. I think I might go and buy the Neutrogena Hydrating Acne Treatment and see how it works for me.

I have that spot apply neutrogena thing you posted and it works wonders for me =)

But different people have different skin and react differently... so it might not work for you. But I'd start with neutro first =)

Hope it works out for you

Guest --joyful.

one of my friends have practically PERFECT skin, and she uses cetaphil.

she washes her face with the cleanser, but after that she mixes it with moisturizer and leaves it on her face overnight.

apparently it works really well for her haha, and she's a swimmer too, so the chlorine practically kills her face without using it.

I choose Cetaphil.

I've been using it for years because my doctor recommended it.

I find Neutrogena VERY very drying to the face

so i prefer Cetaphil.

i've tried alot of other stuff, but i've always just gone back to cetaphil. it doesn't give any magical results right away. i feel it works more gradually, but very effective and non-drying.

i would probably get the cetaphil since it has a simpler formulation. but the texture of it is too liquid for me.

another cleanser you can try is the purpose gentle foaming cleanser or the clean & clear sensitive skin foaming cleanser (the same formula as the purpose cleanser). try and look for cleansers that just cleanse for sensitive skin, not cleansers that has acne fighting ingredients.

considering you don't have bad acne, the water regime should for you as well.
