Jo In Sung confirmed to appear in the new movie, "Escape" 

 

 

An official of the movie 'Escape' (Director Ryu Seung-wan) told the news agency on September 9, "Kim Yoon-seok and Jo In-sung confirmed their appearances."

"We will start shooting overseas in the second half of this year."

After the movie 'The Battleship Island' (2017), director Ryu Seung-wan's new 'Escape' is produced by OEX, Dexter Studio and supported by Lotte Entertainment.

Based on a true story, 'Escape' is a film about the escape incident caused by the South and North Korean embassies isolated in the Somali civil war in the 1990s, and most of the shooting will be carried out overseas.

Jo In-sung is returning to the screen after the film 'The Great Battle' released last year.

Jo In Sung Reportedly Turns Down Offer

The upcoming drama will reportedly tell the story of an international NGO’s (non-governmental organization) work. As the drama is being developed in secret, neither the detailed plot nor its title have been revealed publicly. It was previously announced that top actors including Han Ji Min, Shin Min Ah, and Nam Joo Hyuk are in talks to star in the drama. Jo In Sung was also mentioned on the list, but he has reportedly turned down the offer due to schedule conflicts.

 

Screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung is responsible for numerous hit dramas including the 2018 drama “Live,” the 2014 drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” the 2013 drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows,” and more.

Jo In-sung, positively considering appearance in the movie 'Emergency Declaration'

 

As actor Jo In-sung considered starring in director Han Jae-rim's new film "Emergency Declaration," chances are high that even Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun and Jo In-sung will see the casting of dreams. 

According to an OSEN report on Thursday afternoon, Jo was recently offered to appear in the movie "Emergency Declaration" and is positively considering it. The film has already confirmed the appearance of senior Song Kang-ho and Lee Byung-hun.

The term "emergency declaration" means an emergency that declares an unconditional landing when an aircraft is faced with a disaster situation because normal operation is no longer possible by the captain's judgment. The movie, which is about an aviation disaster, is a full-scale air disaster drama that features suspenseful storytelling and colorful characters of characters.

"I know you're currently adapting the scenario," movie officials told OSEN. "After Song Kang-ho and Lee Byung-hun, Jo In-sung was offered one of the main characters and set the stage for joining." 

Jo has been considering his next film since last year's "The Great Battle," which was released in the Chuseok season, and reportedly showed interest in director Han Jae-rim's "Emergency Declaration," which he first worked with "The King" (2017) two years ago. Already, there is great anticipation in the film industry for the fantastic lineup of box-office directors Han Jae-rim, Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun and Jo In-sung, including "The Purpose of Love," "The Wonder World," "The King." 

Meanwhile, 'Emergency Declaration' (Space Film, co-production C-Jeses Entertainment, Cine state) finished preproduction this year and is scheduled to be cranked out in first half of next year.

Hi Rani, JIS is considering taking on a role in this movie, Escape - IDK what's the development on this since we haven't read any news about this movie now. It was reported that it's scheduled to begin filming in Morocco in the second half of 2019. Time had passed, though...........

Recently, many online communities have posted donations from the Asan Social Welfare Foundation.
