Jaysca101
Does anybody know how to make this? It's what Solbi made for Andy in WGM... I wanna try making it since it seems pretty easy to make. I found the recipe at Naver, but my Korean is not good enough. If this question has already been asked, I'm uber sorry ^^;;; 꿀배찜 레시피 - Ggulbaejjim recipe Thanks for sharing your time ^_______^
Guest V A L XD
AH, I want to learn how to make this too. It's suppose to be good for asthma. I hope someone helps. But I think if you watch that episode on WGM over and over again...you might be able to figure it out. lol
Guest jenniful92
Ingredients: 1 pear, 3 big spoons of sugar and 2 prunes 1. cut off the top of the pear and scoop out the insides like a bowl - but not too much, approximate accordingly. 2. be careful not to make it too thin 3. shred/grind the pear insides with the honey (the poster didnt have a food mixer at the time so theirs is a bit chunky but the texture was pretty nice cause it had some crunchiness to it) 4. then put the mixture back inside the pear with some sliced (or non sliced) daechu (i'll post a picture below but its a red korean prune-like dried fruit) on top 5. waterbath the pear by putting it on top of an upside down bowl in a pot of water on low heat for 1-2 hours or use a steamer the rest is just saying how its good to eat it when its warm - feels like ur cold just disappears - or its good for aftermeals too sorry for rough translations i was in a rush >< hope that helped! daechu:
Guest shingoon
i think daechu is jujube. I saw them at a lot of Korean markets, fresh and dried. The recipe seems okay.

Guest BrittanyKim
My mom made it for me when I was sick(: It takes a longgg time to make but it's really sweet and refreshing!
Guest isabellaaa
I love this stuff. It helps soo much when you have a cough or a sore throat. My mom does it differently; only pears and honey (no extra sugar or calories needed!). It's a bit overbearingly sweet, but its a great lozenge. Guest iceey_blu
i had no idea, but my sister had a bad cough once so i just took some pears, cut the top off, gouged out the core..and filled it with honey and steamed them. i didn't like the resulting liquid inside, it tasted like eggs (and i hate eggs, bleh)
cherry@palace
I've tried it before as well but didn't do it for so long. Only had it in the steamer for abt 45mins. Made it for mum who had a cold and she said it was quite smoothing Have to try it again in the steamer longer.
