JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong will be holding a special series of concerts to celebrate his birthday and the release of his first solo album.A rep from Kim Jae Joong′s agency C-JeS Entertainment told enews on December 26, “We′ve confirmed the release date of Kim Jae Joong′s first solo album to be January 17.

To celebrate the release of his album and his birthday, he will hold special concerts, which will be a mini concert and fanmeeting in one, on December 26 and 27.”(Admin Note: The dates are January 26 and 27)

Kim Jae Joong is currently preparing a solo mini album in the rock genre. He wrote the lyrics for all of the tracks to be included in the album, and also composed for some.

Specifics about the album are still under wraps, but the album has still been drawing international interest due to Kim Jae Joong′s unique vocals and visuals.The rep added, “The concert will be held in a total of three parts, and join together a mini concert and fanmeeting. Fans will be able to hear him sing tracks from his first mini album and more.

He will also talk with his Korean fans about his career in acting as well as how he′s been doing after wrapping up his four-country Asia fanmeeting tour in November.”The title of the concert is set to be Your, My and Mine, and means that the singer will pour everything he has to say about his life into his performance to express his sincere thanks toward his fans on his birthday, January 26.Kim Jae Joong said through his agency, “While writing the lyrics for all the tracks in my album, I wrote about what I′ve always wanted to say, my concerns and what makes me happy. I believe the concert will be a meaningful one in which I′ll be able to show my fans just that.

Please look forward to it.”Your, My and Mine will be held in Ilsan from January 26-27. Tickets will be made available from January 7 through Interpark.

C-Jes Entertainment is giving fans a first look at Kim Jae Joong’s upcoming solo mini album.

The JYJ official Facebook revealed new image on December 2 for Kim Jae Joong’s upcoming first solo mini album.

One cut shows a close-up on Kim Jae Joong’s pale face which stands out against the black background. With his eyes closed and a light tint on his eyelids, elaborate extensions are seen glued to the singer’s eyelashes.

Also included were two cuts of black and white photos of what appears to be Kim Jae Joong′s stage outfits.

The description for those pictures read, “Jaejoong’s 1st solo mini album that focused on his life, music and you is coming soon!

Today album teaser image is released!! (FYI Music video teaser is coming up next week)
Literally, He is beautiful in that picture.. what you think?
Please give him a lot of support^^.”

Kim Jae Joong’s agency shared the singer not only wrote all the lyrics for all the songs on the upcoming album but the lyrics were personal, reflecting his life and music. The released teaser images also followed with this meaning and to show Kim Jae Joong as an artist and his dilemmas and happiness.

The agency also added that despite the title song being in the rock genre, instead of a cold or heavy metal sound, Kim Jae Joong had selected an avant-garde style while the singer looked to show his unique fashion as well through the new album.

The music video teaser will be unveiled sometime next week while the full album drops on January 17.

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong to Hold Mini Concert and Fanmeeting

With his debut as a soloist in progress, JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong will also be holding a mini concert to meet with fans in Korea for the first in a long time.
On January 2, Interpark announced that Kim Jae Joong will be having a mini concert titled Your, My, and Mine on January 26 and 27 at the Kintex in Ilsan. The mini concert will play out like a fanmeeting in celebration of his new solo album and also his 27th birthday on January 26.

The first round of tickets sales will be held on January 7 at 8PM (KST). The date for the second round will be announced on January 9 through Interpark.

Meanwhile, Kim Jae Joong’s solo album will be released on January 17.

JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong Receives Another Rookie Award at the ′MBC Drama Awards′

JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong won another Rookie Award, following his win last year.

The singer-turned-actor won his award at the 2012 MBC Drama Awards, held on December 30, for his feats in the drama Dr. Jin.

Despite its being his first period piece, Kim Jae Joong made a perfect transformation to Kim Kyung Tak, delivering his lines with manly talent.

The award follows a Rookie Award he won last year with SBS. He made his first drama debut in Korea in 2011 with the SBS drama Protect the Boss, and managed to win the New Star Award at the SBS 2011 Drama Awards. The award means more to him as his team never performed on TV except through dramas.

Kim Jae Joong said, "I′ve won the Rookie Award. I′m shaking. My parents are here, and I don′t know why they decided to come today. I′ve won an award. I′m so happy that I′ve received the award they say you can only receive once in your life. At first I acted because I thought I had to, but through Dr. Jin, I came to feel that I want to act."

He then added, "I want to thank [Park] Yoo Chun in front of me, for his support. I also want to thank [Kim] Junsu, who isn′t here right now."

He later tweeted for his fans, "My second Rookie Award. I′ll take this to mean that I should work harder in the future. I want to thank director Han Hee, director Oh Jong Hyun, C-JeS′ [baek] Chang Joo hyung (big brother) and my members Yoo Chun and Junsu. Last but not least, the fans who lead JYJ! I′ll repay your thankful love for the rest of my life."

JYJ fans rejoice! It looks as though JYJ’s Jaejoong will pre-release the song “ONE KISS” from his upcoming solo album “MINE.”

On January 4 C-JeS Entertainment stated, “At 12pm on January 8, we will pre-release the song ‘ONE KISS’ from Jaejoong’s upcoming solo album.” The agency also added, “After pre-releasing the song, we will continue to release making of the music video, and teaser clips for the title song ‘MINE.’”

The song “ONE KISS” will show off Jejoong’s husky but sensual voice. The song will fit in perfectly with the winter season. About the title song “MINE,” a representative of C-JeS Entertainment stated, “MINE is a rock song that has a strong sound created by collaboration with Kim Bada. We are also creating a large scale music video that fits in with the lyrics of the song.”

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong is releasing a preview track before releasing his first solo album.

According to C-Jes Entertainment, ahead of the release of Kim Jae Joong’s solo album Mine, One Kiss will be unveiled online on January 8.

His agency added, “Kim Jae Joong’s new album’s title song, Mine was produced with Kim Ba Da and features a heavy sound in the rock genre and the large-scale music video was recently finished filming. We will unveil the track One Kiss on January 8. It’s a song that features Kim Jae Joong’s husky yet emotional vocals and is a song that’s fitting for the cold winter.”

The agency shared a special production video of Mine’s music video and the music video teaser would be unveiled next week before the full album’s release on January 17.

Phew! It looks like the JYJ Jaejoong love will never wind down. The moment Jaejoong’s first solo concert tickets began selling they were all sold out. A representative of JYJ’s entertainment agency C-JeS Entertainment wrote on January 7, “The 16,000 tickets for ’Your, My and Mine’ was sold out in two days.”

Once ticket sales were open the homepage shut down because of the users that logged on at the same time. Also, when sales were going on Jaejoong’s name was the number one search term on different portal websites.

The representative of C-JeS Entertainment stated, “This concert is the first time that Jaejoong will be having his solo concert. Jaejoong has made special preparations for this concert and will show his skills as an all-around entertainer. The concert will have three parts: Fan meeting, project history talk, and mini concert.”

On January 8 at 12pm (KST) Jaejoong released “ONE KISS.” The song was released through various different online music digital websites such as Melon, Mnet, Bugs, and Olleh.

Kim Jae-joong is a rock star already

With a new album and look on the way, Kim Jae-joong is already unleashing his rock god prowess.
All 16,000 tickets for his solo concert were gone within the hour after going on sale on Jan. 7.
CJeS Entertainment announced the following day that the ticketing Web site Interpark’s server was down for a good 30 minutes due to Web traffic overload from people trying to snap up the tickets.

“True to Hallyu star form, the Web site server recorded the biggest number of connection from overseas,” said a spokesperson for the agency.
The anticipated show is set to be a concert, talk show and a fan meet all in one.

Kim is set to release his solo debut album “Mine” on Jan. 17. It’s said to be full of rock beats as Kim tries to carve a name for himself as a rock singer.
The idol singer has written all the lyrics to the contained songs.
Ahead of the album, Kim will release a song titled “One Kiss” on Jan. 8.

JaeJoong's movie "Jackal is Coming" to be released in Japan



After making its premiere in Korea last year, ‘Jackal Is Coming’ starring JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and Song Ji Hyo, is hoping to find a big audience in Japan.

According to the movie distributor, it had secured a May 3 premiere for the love-suspense movie in Japan. ‘Jackal Is Coming’ talks about a legendary assassin (Song Ji Hyo) who kidnaps top star Choi Hyun (Jaejoong) and the various incidents that occur.

In addition, previously unpublished images of the movie have been revealed. In the photos, Choi Hyun and Jackal meet for the first time in the hotel that will be the main stage for much of this movie. Another image was that of Jaejoong sitting by himself on a chair, talking on the telephone.

JYJ Kim Jae Joong’s ‘One Kiss’ Takes #1 in Nine Countries

JYJ Kim Jae Joong’s solo music career is already off to a good start as his pre-released track , One Kiss is already pushing other songs out of the number one spot on music charts.



One Kiss was pre-released on January 8, and within one day, it took over the number one spot on iTunes’ singles charts in Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Not only that, it also took the top spot for the rock charts in Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

With his song currently number one in nine different countries, Kim Jae Joong will release his first solo album titled Mine on January 17. He will be holding his sold out mini-concert, Your, My, and Mine on January 26 and 27.
