When K-Pop generations collide, fans get all the feels. There’s just something special about veteran idols showing support for today’s idols, and vice versa.

On July 23, Jaejoong posted a story to his Instagram that features “Seoul”, a song from BTS RM’s 2018 mixtape, mono. “Seoul” added the perfect atmosphere to Jaejoong’s leisurely ride through city traffic.

While watching Kim Bo Mi getting her hair done at the salon, Jaejoong commented, "Men like the ponytail hair style on women." Here, MC Choi Hwa Jung asked, "There aren't many opportunities to watch while your girlfriend is getting her hair done, right?" 
Jaejoong surprised his fellow panelists by answering, "I actually have a makeup license. When I was taking the makeup license exam, the last stage was bridal makeup. Kim Jaejoong talked about getting his cosmetology certification on TV Chosun’s “Taste of Dating”!
The August 8 broadcast of the show followed a couple as they went to a salon together ahead of an event. The pair shared a sweet moment, with the boyfriend even taking pictures of his girlfriend as she got her makeup done.
Watching this, SECHSKIES’s Jang Su Won stated, “There’s not much to see when someone is getting makeup done. Don’t women take quite long?” MC Park Na Rae shared, “For a wedding, I heard it takes 3 hours for the bride’s make-up and 15 minutes for the groom’s.”
Kim Jaejoong then revealed, “Back when I was getting my cosmetology certification, I had to do bridal makeup. The partners changed at the end only for that part.” The panel expressed their surprise that he had this experience, saying, “Your girlfriend would really like that.”

He added, “I think kissing someone when you’re putting on lipstick is the best method. I would put it on my lips first,” making everyone laugh.

Kim Jaejoong recently appeared on Playlist’s new variety show “Extreme Interview”!
“Extreme Interview” is a program in which celebrities take on the challenge of getting employed. These stars, who have never experienced preparing for employment, must go through a series of tests in order to pass their first-ever job interview. Kim Jaejoong appeared as the first guest on the program in the hopes of becoming a new rookie producer for a cooking program.
During the interview, the interviewers looked over Kim Jaejoong’s resume and brought up his answer for his biggest insecurity. They were shocked to see that he wrote, “Face.” As the interviewers stared at the singer in disbelief, he quickly explained, “I think [my face] is very iffy. I think I have a unique look.”


The interviewers then moved on to the section of his desired salary. They couldn’t help but gasp at his answer of “60 million won” (approximately $49,400) with a heart drawn at the end. Seeing their reactions, Kim Jaejoong remarked, “I don’t want to work with the mindset that I’m new. A salary for new recruits is fine too, but I meant that I would be willing to work that hard.”
Kim Jaejoong then revealed that he had a secret—he had lied to many people about his height. He explained, “It says that my height is 180 centimeters [approximately 5 feet 11 inches] on my profile, but I’m really 178.6 centimeters tall. 180 centimeters is my dream height.”
The interviewers then commented that they would begin the second part of the interview, and he would have to face small penalties if he broke the show’s rules. When asked about his favorite group these days, Kim Jaejoong answered, “BTS,” but was given a punishment for breaking a rule. The interviewers continued to ask him unconventional questions, and he was shocked to hear that he had been receiving punishments for sticking out his tongue.
At the end of the clip, Kim Jaejoong revealed that viewers could win copies of his resume and ID photo if the video surpassed 800,000 views.

Jaejoong has decided on J-JUN as his new stage name in Japan, as he recently dropped jacket photos and details for his upcoming Japanese album ‘Love Covers' set to be released on September,18.

In J-JUN's first cover album 'Love Covers', he'll be covering a total of seven famous Japanese love songs, as follow:

(Trans) Tbh I’m a Yunho only fan, but I happened to watch #ジェジュン today & frankly thought he was great. In the current situation ,regardless of the genre, he sang in Misora Hibari’s native soil. I wonder how hard he strived to digest the song & express it in his singing.

(Trans) I first thought “ #ジェジュン -kun, isn’t it a too high key?” However you can sing it in a high (original) key. I’m sorry I underestimated you.

(Trans) It’s too great to see #ジェジュン , a male singer from Korea, sing #愛燦燦 of Hibari Misora, a queen of Japanese singers, so well. His looks & singing voice are violently beautiful. I found myself sitting straight. 

 

(Trans) On her calendar written are ‘Hibari, NHK, G E JUN?’ My mom , a big Hibari fan, who couldn’t spell #ジェジュン right, called me right away. ‘I liked it because JJ sang my lady’s song just following his heart.’ JJ in my mom has been upgraded.   

 

(Trans) LINE from my grandma who’s a Hibari fan “I just saw a Korean boy named Jun-kun sing #愛燦燦 on NHK, his Japanese is excellent & so is his singing. I recommend you to listen to him. I know you like Koreans.”
