I really liked this film. Not as good as the first one, I felt it lacking in many parts, but I still really enjoyed it. It's a very good set-up to the third film, which I can't wait to see.

I was really wondering who the person was walking down the stairs. Of course I immediately thought it was Jack, but.. that would make no sense. Then I saw Barbossa and was like

What a nice little twist.

Wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still very good. Can't wait to see the third.

I loved the movie, waiting for the next one! I heard it was next year somewhere in May. Well, Johnny depp was such a hottie LOL. There was a little scene after the credits? Crap didn't wait to see it, can someone tell me what it was? LOL XD

but I loved this movie, there were some really funny parts. like the fruits!! hahaha

I thought the reunion between Will & his father would be more.. emotional

This is gonna be the biggest movie ever.

Well, maybe not.

But probably the biggest opening weekend in history. Spider-man currently holds the record with about 114 million, but I doubt PotC won't beat it.

According to Fandango.com, a ticket for the movie was sold on average, 7 times every second. I'm useless at math, but my brother added it up using a median of different ticket prices, and came up with almost 50 million.

That's roughly 50 million in tickets sold. In one day. On one website.

Awwwwwwww!! I watched it tonight ^O^

At first, I wasn't too excited because my 'POTC obsession' and OB craze died out over the years >_>

But then I'm lining up and I get all hyped again ^_____^ WEeeeeee!!

I was SO EXCITED...

And even though I excited A LOT out of it....it didn't fail my expectations ^O^

You know how sequels aren't always as good as the original?!

HAHAHAHA X___X That DIDN'T applied to THIS case ^O^

Of coruse, the first movie was a lot more conclusive....

But this movie had so many interesting plot twists =) It's quite obvious what was going to happen...

I knew that bootleg was gonna come back

And um....I think that old black lady? o_O I dunno her name....(I forgot a lot of their names LMAO) She's actually Davey Jone's girlfriend? X____X

Or is that too obvious to say? lol =P

Besides that, there's A LOT of foreshadowing for people who haven't watch it ^^

You see al ot of metaphors and symbology all over the place.....so I'm REALLY interested how they're going to put it all together by next year =X

OMG I CAN'T WAIT O___O Everytime I think about it, I wanna watch it again and I can't WAIT DAMNIT for the next one =(

I watched this movie at 12:15 AM yesterday! And personally - I LOVED it! It is not as "fresh" as the first one, but it was so HILARIOUS. I laughed soooo muchhhhh!

I liked this one better because of the action, although the whole octopus creature thing was kind of corny.

I was slightly annoyed by the cliffhanger though.

My friends and I sneaked into the movie because it was sold out, so I missed the first 10 or so minutes we walked in when Will and Elizabeth were captured and tied up and Jack had escaped in a coffin. What exactly happened before?

I kind of forgot what happened in the first one so I forgot who some of the characters were. I forgot...why was Will's father condemned to that Sea monster thing? Also who was the guy they met at Tortuga?

I didn't hear clearly, but what exactly happened with Davey Jones' Love life?

BTW what was the scene after the credits?

she annoyed me too! and yah that part of the plot was like especially then they were making out at the end?! what the eff?! I always thought that she and Will Turner made a cute couple :[ and I mean, they were about to get married and everything! He loved her since the beginning... so why does she randomly like Jack Sparrow all of a sudden?? It would be kind of weird if they got together. Johnny Depp did a really great job though~ he was very... well, you'll just have to see it :] overall I thought the movie was good though. Not really a disappointment, in my opinion~ And DANG the crew [On the Flying Dutchman] was ugly! holy dang, it was gross.

I thought the first one was better though :]

I think the only reason she did it was to shackle him to the ship.

Barbossa was the captain of the ship from POTC 1 in which the people couldn't die right?

I liked the foreshadowing in the movie, just as the shape of the little music maker is a heart and the same shape as the keyhole of the Dead Man's chest. In addition, the first time Jack visits that physic lady, you can see a pair of pirate boots in the background which belonged to Barbossa.

The begining I don't quite remember actually...All I remember is them being captured haha for uhh, setting Captain Jack Sparrow free, which was a crime punishable by death....and the guy making some deal with Will.

Will's father was condemned to serve with Davey Jones because if you remember in the first movie they punished Bootstrap by strapping a cannon ball to his boots so he suck to the bottom of the ocean, but since they were cursed, he couldn't die, all he could feel was "the crushing weight of the ocean for eternity." And then Davey Jones (he's the ugly octopus crab thing right?????) came along and offered to make him a part of his crew, so Bill accepted.

The guy they met in Tortuga? Isn't that Norrington...the colonel which chased them in the first movie and who liked Elisabeth?

And uhhh....I didn't understand the who Davey Jones lovelife story...so....*shrugs*

But hey - I think Elisabeth is definately attracted to Jack. I mean the compass is suppose to point to whatever your heart's desires the most, right? Well, remember, it kept pointing to Jack and she kept getting frustrated with it, saying the compass was stupid and broken and such...

That reminds me! I wonder what is on JACK'S heart! Remember he couldn't find a clear heading either. Hmmm....! I wonder!

Stay until the end of the credits its super long but there is something at the end!!!

The movies goes for 150mins, so I suggest you go to the toilet beforehand. I didn't find it as great as the first one, but it was still enjoyable and its still humourous and JACK SPARROW STILL RULES!!!

it was quite funny with all the fighting against eachother (Jack___Will___Norrington) and I loved all the twists and such with Elizabeth's heart pointing towards Jack and jack's heart not knowing what he wants and stuff...i was really surprised at the end..and now i really want to see more...don't want to wait until 2007 to see it..>_<;;
