The representative of Seoul Film Festival reports "Though it maybe short film, we have asked director Min Gyu Dong to

produce an impressive introduction film that would represent

the Seoul Film Festival, and director Min Gyu Dong has

asked actress Kim Min Sun to be in this short fim, which she

was more than happy to accept"

This short introduction film will be firt shown on the 8th of September at the opening ceremony

Kim Min Sun will also co-host the opening ceremony and

Uhm Tae Woong will film the short introduction film as well

The 7th Seoul Film Festival will begin on the 8th till the 17th of

September at the 'Sponge House Jong Ro' (former Cine Core)

and 'Seoul Art Cinema' (former Hollywood Movie Theater)

And speaking further of Francis, I just watched Karmic Mahjong and Francis was in top form. He is so quirky and interesting and such a cutie... at least he lost the Triumph in the Skies haircut... thank goodness... and I guess we could say the same about Tae Woong too... quirkely cute!

PS monoceros...like your little banner, another favorite of mine!

Oh yeah, Francis looked awkward in his hairstyle in Triumph In the Skies otherwise his role character is perfecto. Similarly, UTW looked un-smart as he appeared without applying gel on his hair but I think his role character requires him to look like that! I’ve yet to watch his screen presence in his role as Kang San-Ho but based on pictures he sure does look funny with varied expressions. Sometimes when I think of him as UTW (he is actually a very shy person), I wonder how he managed to pull out such comical expressions. I guess he must have practiced all his facial gestures in front of the mirror for perfection. With a character which is contrary to his own self, I might say he is a talented and great actor.

Btw, your "hou leng chai" banner looked so refreshing in a Korean forum!

just wondering if anybody knows the viewership ratings for this drama?

I heard that this drama did not attract many viewership and the ratings failed to reach the top 10. I think with the current expectations from the Korean viewers, this drama may not appeal to many but then again, how many K-productions are highly recognized or well-received by viewers? I do suggest that one should watch this drama with an open-mind and rate it according to your own satisfaction. Try not to judge it based on ratings as there are circumstances that may cause the low rating like timing of airing which concide with other competitive high-rated dramas (was aired before STP and has already earned loyal viewers). Just my opinion ....

And regarding Tae Woong's appearance, I think we had a good chance to see him as very styled and casual in Resurrection. I preferred the casual. I think that somehow his role in Gumhio was less flattering, but only because that appeared to be filmed in digital video without the benefit of soft focus and lighting. Even Hyun-jae did not look his best in Gumhio.

Regards my sig image, Koo seemed to be the best choice for that and my web card, even though there are a lot of Korean guys featured on the site. It started out as a Hong Kong actor site and evolved to it's present configuration. Tastes change...but Francis remains!

surprisingly there doesn't seem to be anything wrong w/ the Sun rips for Vineyard Man and Stranger than Paradise. The Sun rip for EP 27 Jumong was much better today, but there was still this something, which made me not want to up it to CB...hopefully there's a better rip.
