Han Suk-Kyu will join Son Ye-Jin, Ko Soo's film "Into The White Night" (Cinema Service, director Park Shin-Woo).

Han Suk-Kyu will play a detective who will reinvestigate a maze-like murder mystery from 15 years ago and learn about the tragic fate of a man and a woman.

At the beginning, Han Suk-Kyu felt that it would be very difficult to outperform the detective role from the previous version. He turned down the starring offer because of this burden. He changed his mind after seeing Park Shin-Woo's short film "About A Bad Boy" and the script of "Into The White Night".

"Into The White Night" will begin shooting in February. The film is about the mysterious love story of a man and a woman who killed their parents. Director Kang Woo-Seok will be reponsible for the film production and investment.

This film's production said that Son Ye-Jin is the only actress with both matured acting and appealing eyes needed to convey 'sad/sorrowful beauty and inner melanchony'. Even though many actresses expressed their interests in this role, they only waited for Son Ye-Jin's reply/response.

Ko Soo is confirmed to play 'Yo-Han 요한' who sacrifices everything to protect his love 'Mi-Ho 미호'. Ko Soo received many starring offers after being discharged from military service a year ago; when he read the scenario of 'Into The White Night', he felt like he's been waiting for this role all along. After finishing the script, he expressed his interest to be in it; he hopes to return to the silver screen (ending a 5-year hiatus) with this.

Movie 'Into The White' will be directed by Park Shin-Woo (graduated from Visual Design at Hongik University) who already won Sunje Fund Award for best Korean short film with 'Gold Fish' at the Wide Angle section of the 9th Pusan International Film Festival (2004). He also won Jury Special Award at the 4th Mise-en-scène's Genre Film Festival with short film 'About A Bad Boy'. He is an anticipated new director.

OMG!!! i was about to say Ko Soo is a good pick for Yamada's role...seriously they resembles sometimes...overall i'm looking forward to this one...but let just hope Ko Soo doesn't die at the end just like Yamada die to save the girl he loves. Can't wait for Ko Soo on screen again...so ye jin is pretty! love the pairing.

Son Ye Jin is so lucky to act with all those top-notched actors; Han suk-Kyu plays well as detective, investigator, or police… I look forward to this movie. I like this actor eversince Shiri I am still tracking down his two movies to watch...The President's Last Bang (2005) & The Contact (1997).

I am in the midst of watching SYJ's Lovers' Concerto.
